Screaming 'I Hate You'
Social Recast..

Screaming through tears, a lanky brunette stood in a dark room that was almost empty. "Was is worth it?! Did you accomplish what you wanted? Feel better now that that you've got that out of your system?" his voice was echoing through the entire house, almost throwing the person in front back.

It was three in the morning and everything in the town was quiet, everything, but this one house. In the house there were three people standing around in the black living room; an they didn't care how loud they were.

In the black room, his bleached hair was easy to see, as he responded to the yelling. "Kail, listen to me, it's not what you think," the other man answered back, stepping closer to the brunette. His body moved slowly, cautiously, making sure not to scare away the brunette.

Backing away from the blonde's attempt to make peace, "Not what i think? Tell me Landon, what do I think?" whipping away his tears, Kail crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes; glaring at the figure standing in front of him, the figure that he'd grown to love so much.

Standing a little further behind Landon was a woman with short black hair, wrapped in a sheet. She was confused and afraid to speak up over the screams of Kail; who'd only arrived ten minutes earlier.

Blinking pretentiously, Landon stared at his lover with a loss of words. No real answer could be given to the hopeful and heart broken boy.

"Kail.." Landon’s bleak eyes looked over his shoulder at the woman gripping her white sheet, then back at Kail, "I'm sorry." His voice cracked and came out a whisper as he hung his head in shame of what he had done.

"Minutes become hours, and hours become day. Eventually, all those days add up to months, and months to years. I've wasted almost my whole standing by your side. Standing there, thinking that I had you all to myself..." although angry, Kail's voice came out soft; amorous. "This whole time, I was being lied to. This whole time, I thought it was love. And look at how you managed to mess up my whole world.. congratulations." Turning his back to Landon, Kail began to walk towards to door.

"Wait!" a female's voice sparked up, "Kail.. this wasn't Landon's fault, it was mine. Don't punish him for it," the woman wrapped in a sheet began to walk to the brunette. Her brown eyes were weld up with tears, and her hands were shaking at the grip of the cotton protecting her.

Without turning back, Kail stopped, and opened his mouth to speak. Nothing. Nothing could find it's way out. He stood frozen for a few more minutes before he continued to walk towards the door.

"Kail, please forgive me," Landon cried as tears began streaking his pale cheeks. Running after him, Landon got pushed back when Kail finally turned around. His eyes red and bloodshot.

Kail couldn't hold back all his anger and hurt any more, he raised his hand and swung at Landon. A loud smack reverberated all around them. Landon's face turned from the impact and started to swell. "Don't ask for my forgiveness... you don't deserve it."

Silence.

The door shut with a loud thump as Kail made his way out of the house. Out of the life that he once knew, the life that he was so comfortable in. Nothing could ever be the same now, the love of his life was gone.. everything he'd ever known; gone.

Streetlights shined down on the stumbling brunette as he tried to walk without bumping into random objects on the sidewalk. It was relatively quiet as few cars raced by; most of them drag racing with one another.

It was only about three-thirty in the morning and Kail was walking aimlessly around the town until he came to the local park. The lights in the park were brighter than the street lights, and the pond was illuminating a dark green by the glow of moon. A full moon was looking over the young man as he sat down on the bench that was only a few feet away from the edge of the body of water.

"You're selfish, and you're sorry?" Asked Kail to no one in particular. Around the pond, he stared at the resting geese that were huddled together behind the weeds and plants.

Few fish were swimming around and biting at the top of the water, and all of them seemed to be curious as to what their visitor was up to. "Just fish.. you never have any problems.. just always swirling around in that same pond, doing anything important," Kail sighed leaning back against his seat.

There was a loud click behind Kail as he felt something against his back, "Hands up," a male's voice whispered as he jabbed a black item further into Kail's grey shirt.

Placing his hands on his head, that was the only movement that Kail managed out of his weak body.

"Where's your money?"

Vigorously shaking his head, he closed his blue eyes, "I don't have any money." Kail's voice was shaky as he answered the question.

"Liar, just give it to me and there won't be any problems.." the man was going to get impatient very quickly for his voice was already at a high tone.

"I'm not lying, I just came outside for a walk.. and I didn't think that I'd need any money," Kail rolled his eyes at the stupidity of the man that had a gun shoved in his back, then stood up slowly.

"What are you doing?!"

Turning around, Kail frowned, "I just broke up with my boyfriend, check my pockets, I swear I don't have any money."

The man's face was covered with a black ski mask, all except for his eyes, "Your boyfriend?" his voice was muffled as his hand fell beside him.

Kail watched as his eyes grew and then shrank. Now, the narrowed, anger excelled through his eyes, piercing through Kail's. His arm swung the gun against his head, causing Kail to cry out in pain and fall to the ground. Looking at his hands that has just gripped his head, he saw a maroon color consuming his hand. Tears once more began to fill his eyes.

"What's it feel like to be the new queer kid in school?" the man kicked Kail in the ribs as his voice penetrated Kail's ears. Bitter.

Still kicking him, the man slowed down a bit, then completely stopped. "In the beginning of my high school education...I was that new guy in school.. gay.. and now look at me! I'm all fine, normal!" his eyes twitched as he raised the gun to his own head.

Moaning on the ground, Kail turned over and opened his mouth, "Don't..." he managed to spit out as he threw his head back, and turned on his side holding his ribs. Looking p at his was a growing puddle of blood that looked almost black in the dark.

The robber looked both ways before he pointed the gun down, "You.. you you need help!" he screamed as he fired the gun.

Screams. Kail's voice could be heard as his hands went for his chest and body plowed into the ground; thumping against the hard concert.

His hands were shaking in black gloves as the gun fell to the ground. The man stumbled backwards and the stopped. He glared down at his hands, and then at Kail, lying there motionless.

Blinking, he couldn't believe what he'd done, he stood still, making sure not to destroy anything else. Before he realized it, he was running away form the body, tripping over his feet. Once in the road, he stopped, dead in the middle, watching a car come crashing into him. His body flew across the street and into the sidewalk where traffic cones were piled up and then knocked down.

The car skidded to a stop and out came a blond in boxers and a t-shirt. "Who the hell are you?" he asked staring at the guy, not bothering to ask if he was alright.

"Ugh," was all the man was able to say before his eyes closed and his arms fell to the ground; unconscious.

Looking around from where the guy ran away from, he noticed something large sitting in the middle of the park; unmoving.

"Kail?" he questioned, running towards his boyfriend, ex-boyfriend. Leaning down beside the man, Landon stroked his rated hair and whipped the blood off his face.

"In the beginning.. I didn't know what the point of my life was... until I met you.."

Sirens were starting to go off, making their way to the injured bodies..

Landon looked at the guy being shoved into the ambulance, he deserves to die, he thought, looking down at the traffic cones and his car; then finally at the spot Kail had been lying. Kail wasn't pronounced dead, but his life was slowly slipping away as they took him off.

"Mistakes are made.. and love chains are connected. Crimes are committed everyday; and I’ve never said I've hated you..." Landon tried to smile, but failed, "until now. I hate you is all I can think to say." Tears fell down his cheeks and onto the pavement. His once glowing green eyes stood still, staring at the cruel world. All of his thought were beginning to cloud his view.. Slowly, his jade eyes faded away with the night.

Police cars surrounded the park entrance and sirens echoed through the town. Three a.m. and nothing in the city wasn’t quiet anymore.
