Nothing new
A plain man
His life a tragedy
No smile on his face
No light shining from his eyes
He longed to feel the sun shining
To hear the birds signing in the trees
But no birds would come out in the storm
The thunderous roar drowned out any song reaching for light
Love was written as forbidden by the streaking lightning
Pronounced to be alone for all his days
