I hope its good so far but whatever

I hope its good so far but whatever. Anyways before I start the story again, I have some info, facts, and updates. Whatever you want to call them.

1) My story is going to get a little confusing(not to confusing to were you cant read it and give up, no, my story will just be different.),

2) Elianna, Main character, heroine, master of all that is good and bad,(Just Kidding) She is a very important person. Without her…the story can’t go on.

3) Don’t forget that everything they do is at night. No daytime, it’s deadly for them.

4) that is all…

Do You Believe in Destiny?

Chapter 4-Room mates, classes, and molasses

What I saw when I stepped out of the car was breathe taking. We were next to a building, which was on a hill. Down the street (yes, there are streets.) was the school. I could see for miles on the hill.

The place was amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever seen somewhere so beautiful. I think I’m in love… But no, this place is seriously cool. There are tons of buildings all over the place. All painted a dark tan mixed with a crème color and another color that is a maroon color. There had to be about nine buildings. Not far from the school campus there’s a huge building about the size of seven of those family of four houses. Damn! That had to be where the king and queen live.

Of in the distance about ten miles out, there was the outline of a town. Wow, it’s pretty big… I feel unworthy of being here. It’s all too nice to for me, too fancy. This feeling, it makes me want to go home…to the parents that don’t know me.

“Well Eli, what do you think?” I had totally forgotten that Dr. Kepler and Ms. Griffin were with me. “It’s a beauty.”

I shook my head yes. “It’s so big and…well beautiful.”

“Yes well, during your stay you will be able to see all of it. But not now, we have to get the key to you room and your class schedule.” He sighed. “Let’s go.”

I hesitated. I dint want to look away. But despite that I took one last glance and followed Dr. Kepler into the building. “Where did Ms. Griffin go?” I finally noticed her absence.

“She has work to do.” He said. “I will be your assistances until you meet your room mate.”

“Room mate?” I shuddered. Great I get to share a room with another vampire. Joy! “It’s a girl, right?”

Dr. Kepler laughed. “Yes. It maybe co-op but we stick girls with girls and boy with boys. Unless they request to be in the same room.”

Do these vampires believe in sex before marriage of something? Having teenager of the opposite sex stay in a room together. Limits, PDA people! Well actually what they probably do in there room isn’t PDA since there’s no one there but still!

“And you approve it?” I gulped. “What if the have like…” I trailed off. I was too embarrassed to say it.

“Oh Eli,” he sighed. “We are vampires. If you find your lover than you are, what the humans call it, married. But in class we ask you to refrain from those activities.”

“I guess that’s better than nothing,” I murmured. I really don’t want to see teens making-out everywhere I go. “But to say with one person for so long. Wouldn’t it be hard?”

“Eli,” he said softly. “You are no longer human, so stop acting like one. You are better than a human. We don’t die, we are loyal, and we are strong. Nothing like those weak beings outside our borders.”

I stood on the tips of my toe to whisper in his ear. “Are you…racist?”

He laughed. “Let’s go.”

Okay. I’m getting pissed. Dr. Kepler and this lady have been talking for an hour and a half. I am bored out of my mind. I want to go, now! Well maybe I should stop being selfish. I have my whole, unlife, ahead of me.

“Eli,” I screamed when Dr. Kepler called my name then fell out of the chair I was sitting on. “Eli, are you ok?”

“Yup! Fine, great, super!” I said fast as I stood up. “Um, what’s up?”

“Here is your room key and your class schedule.” He handed me a key and a piece of paper. “I’ll take you to your room.”

We walked out of the building and into the car. I watch as we drove away from the building. About five minutes later we were on the school campus. Dr. Kepler got out and a second later my door was open.

“How did you do that?” I asked.

“We are really fast.” He said proudly. “Much faster than those Buffy wannabes.”

I snapped my head towards him. “You mean vampire hunters?”

His face was sad. “Yeah, they come every once in a while kill as many of us as they can. Last time they got five of us.”

“That’s terrible!” How rude. I can’t believe people now and days. “Didn’t you build these walls to stay away from humans? You’ve done nothing wrong for them to come here and hurt you!”

“I’m glad you feel so strongly about this,” he said. “You know that that may be you who got killed.”

“No! I won’t let them hurt anyone!” I growled. Why am I acting so protective of people I don’t even know? “I want to fight them!”

“Eli, you need to be trained first. Just like everyone else.” He told me. “Not all girls like to fight so we don’t made them, but we do teach them incase something happens.” He was silent for a minute. “Let’s go meet your room mate.”

I followed him through buildings and into a courtyard. It’s big; there was a fountain in the center. Grass in the corners where kids where sitting and talking. We came to a stop at a big building. I stared at it with awe, until I saw Dr. Kepler walk into it.

Once inside, I noted that there where lights on every where. “Why don’t these lights hurt us?” Although it was beautiful inside, there were separated rooms with TV’s and a large stairway.

“Because it’s not real light. True light is the sun and our bodies can’t handle it. But these lights are like artificial.” He explained.

Oh! “Cool!” I said.

I followed him towards the stairs as students stood at the doors of the TV rooms. They just watched me with their judging eyes. I didn’t like the looks but I stood tall and walked confidently to the stairs. When we reached them, I didn’t look back but I move forward. At the top, finally away from the stares, I let out a breath and walked, tripping over my own two feet. I’m too clumsy for my own good. My death, most likely, would have been from me falling down stairs.

“Eli!” Dr. Kepler yelled. “Are you okay?”

I stood up and flipped my hair backwards. “I’m good. I’m not human, remember.”

“Yeah, but it still hurts.” He said.

“I’m actually used to it,” I smiled, because it’s true, I was use to it. I’m always tripping everywhere.

“Right,” he turned slowly and continued to walk. “The second and third stories are rooms first floor is the lounge.”

“Okay,” was all I could say? I was nervous about meeting the person I was staying with. Is she nice? Is she pretty? Well Vampires are all beautiful. But I knew nothing about her. I wish it was Ali, who was waiting for me, instead of someone else.

“Ah, here we are,” he stopped in front of room 126. “Let’s knock so we know she knows were here.”

“No duh,” I mumbled under my breath.

“Mordia!” Dr. Kepler called as he knocked. “Mordia? Your room mate is here!”

There were noises like books falling and crashes of something or other. Then in silence; the door open swiftly. There stood a girl about five foot five, long brown hair, brown eyes, and slim figure. She was beautiful; she was smiling from ear to ear.

“Hello!” her voice was smooth. “I’m Mordia. You must be Elianna!”

I looked from Dr. Kepler to Mordia. Then he spoke up. “Mordia, I’ll leave you in charge of her.”

“That’s fine Dr.” she said. “C’mon Elianna.” She pulled my arm and closed the door be hind us. “So you’re my room mate. You’re gorgeous!”

“Thanks,” I replied. “But your better looking then me.”

“Oh, and modest.” She laughed. “I finally get to share a room with someone. It’s been boring having my own room for two and a half months. I’m Mordia Stoker. Let’s be friends. Do you mind if I call you Eli?”

“Um, not at all, go ahead.” I said.

“So Eli, are you hungry?” she asked. “We can go to the Dining Hall. They have great food. You should try the molasses.”

“What’s that?” I’m not eating it if I don’t know what it is. “Wait. You eat real food?”

“Of course, silly.” She laughed. “You shouldn’t believe those stories about us. We are what they think.”

I cocked my head sideways like a confused puppy. “We’re better.” She whispered in my ear.

“Oh,” I murmured.

“But enough of that,” she walked to the door. “How about that molasses? It tastes better on bread.”

“S-sure.” I stuttered and followed her out of the room. “What is it again?”
