so unlike the others

its almost impossible to tell the difference

and i cant help but wonder

does it really matter?

the similarities impossible to count-

nothing to count

human beings, nonetheless

walking the halls

emptiness creeping

blackness, darkness, blankness

in the white

yellow bulbs in the middle of small rooms, dirty

strings hanging down for you to pull

and the light goes on

but sometimes

you cant find the string in the dark

or you dont know what it is

or you cant even find the room.

so the hallways remain empty

blank, black

(padded white rooms to match)

and so unlike the others.
