What the sun's rays would feel like

on your bare and scar-raised skin?

How those wounds were inflicted

or how it would all begin?

What might have been, if the cage

engulfing, was not so small?

What it'd be like, so alone

still afraid to suffer through it all?

I've been here in this cage before

I know how it is

the freedom lost

so close for the taking so far from your reach
