Darkness, Conceal Thy Pain.

The smile that hides a thousand tears,

The mask that shields her pain,

Silent screams that echo within her mind,

Shallow remarks conceal her shame.

She has a way of covering herself,

Her emotions are never clear,

Shying away from the people,

Caged into the shadow of fear.

But behind the make-up and smiles,

Her laughter that never rings true,

Empty words covey more that they seem.

And the women who cries in the darkness,

Is just a little girl, lost in a dream.
