You’ve seen every stumble, every fall, every trip,

You’ve seen every stumble, every fall, every trip,

You’ve seen every scratch, every punch, every kick,

You’ve seen every scar, every bruise, every cut,

You’ve seen every stub, every tear, every door slammed shut.

You’ve seen me weep in such sorrow,

You’ve stayed with me all day into tomorrow,

You’ve seen me wipe the tears away,

You’ve seen me, so why would you want to stay?

You’ve seen me at my very worst,

You’ve seen my life full of curse,

You’ve seen my misfortunes and back luck,

You’ve seen me play sports and how much I suck.

You kiss every spot every time I fall,

Your what has saved me for it all,

You’re perfection, top of the class,

So why do you want this to last?

You could have anyone prettier than me,

How long is it going to take you to see?

I can’t even compare to you,

So why would you dare to love me too?
