d i v e and s u b m u r g e
by: lavender brushes

i'm underwater.
/s t r u g g l i n g/ to breathe
(it doesn't seem that way)

i am not flinging my arms frantically
splashing the water with all my power
seeking help
attemping to say that i'm drowning
claiming not to enjoy it
(because actually, i.am.enjoying.it.)
my mouth is shut and
i'm sustaining oxygen
(or at least trying to)

the water is getting more fierce
and my legs slowly begin to lose their power
they started with.
water begins to go everywhere with in my body
and i can't stop it
it begins to become more painful
but i know that the pain will end soon.

hopefully.

tears, even though not visible underwater
begins to take over my face
and i can't escape the darkness that i begin to see
everything is turning to black
and i can no longer see the water that i'm going to perish in

i close my eyes to welcome death.

:.:author's note:.:

argh, i'll change the title later.

here's a question, answer carefully in the reviews: would you rather spend your last hours(die) in water or fire(choose one)? explain your answer and later i will say my answer.
