Oh, how I wish I could write poems

To make a great card for you

I know math, science, chemistry-

Now I wish I knew poetry too.

Then I could write an unstoppable card,

And you’d say, “Wow! Check out this poetry!”

And you’d send it off somewhere,

And they’d read it in awe,

And I would be famous

And you would be happy

If only, if only, I could write poetry.
