When you smile, your face lights up, and all I can see

Is the person I know you are trying to be

And how I wish that you could know

How much I hope that smile will grow

And how I pray that I will hear

Your rippling laugh that I hold so dear

And how I want for you to find

That you’ve got great thoughts on your mind

And now I see that maybe you might

Realize you’re special and keep up the fight

Because I can see how happy you are

When you laugh, when you smile, when you shine like a star

And I really hope that what you will do

Is look up into the sky, and notice the blue.
