I kill.

Those that feel alone, I befriend.

Those that feel unloved, I embrace.

Those that are angry at the world, who hate all people, seek me.

People must come far to find me, far from joy.

One they’re here, I want them to stay.

Soon my visitors see the world as cold and unfeeling.

They only see pain as I whisper little half-truths in their ears.

Soon my visitors are my prisoners, chained in their own minds and hearts.

Are you one of them?
