Sometimes life hurts

You are too nice

You are too giving

Too trusting

Life is good to some

Life is great to others

And sometimes it does hurt a bit

Like the sting of a bee

On a hot summer day

And out of nowhere

It just happens

The sentiment is so deep

When you have been mislead

Misguided

Were too nice and believe it so

Didn’t see through the lies

Didn’t see it coming

But who could have foreseen

You believe you cared and that was it enough

Love one hand

And

Friendship on the other

Quite a mixture

That is for sure

Life is full of surprises

Good and not that great

But heartbreaks can heal

Slowly in time

As old friendships end and new ones grow

As you become stronger yet
