I Am X

I Am X

I am X.

My identity is unknown, to others and myself.

I am pulled from obscurity ad placed in the system

Surrounded by both those who know themselves and those who don’t.

I am lost in this sea of complexities

The system changes and so do I.

Without warning I have become my opposite

No longer who I am but who I am now

Now the negative is gone and I am back to my unknown self

I see a bridge beside me, and closer I move towards it

As I cross, my world turns upside down

Everything is different, nothing makes sense

Until I am jerked up once more and my world settles into place.

I am now attached to a figure which changes who I am

To another figure beside me I also am attached

But in a different way, and differently I am changed

We become enclosed, I and my new definitions.

Though soon we are pulled apart

I am squared, and a reflection of myself,

Who makes me greater than what I am, joins with me

Beside us I see another shadow of myself which soon disappears.

I feel my reflection being ripped away

As I am driven to me root.

Now I look across the bridge and I can see what I am.

I am….
