One in every crowd

We’re always searching for substitute,
anything to fill our day.
It’s all a desperation, a destitute,
something we grab on the way.

a/n: yeah, um... if i say that i was listening to backyard babies’ song ’A Song For The Outcast’ when i wrote this, would you understand then? probably not, but that’s okay, it’s not like i get it either.
