This is the sequel to Destined Love, hope you’ll like it! – Yukiko

It was an awkward feeling when Shinichi told those words to Yuki. It mixed into her heart from despair to happiness.

A year passed since Yuki went to England to follow Shinichi. The past year was a very painful yet happy year. Yuki continued to study in the academy and were still friends with Tadashi and Jeanne. Though not too close with Shinichi but occasionally give glances and secretly smile to each other from far away.

The story begins when it was the school’s year anniversary and the students were planning on what to do.

“Yuki-chan it’s lunch time!” Tadashi pulled Yuki out from the enormous crowd.

“Phew, I was saved. Thank you Tadashi” Yuki said in relief.

“It’s always like this every school anniversary, the students get excited with the event, especially the grand spring ball” Tadashi said as he carried huge amount of books and folders.

“Uh… Tadashi? Do you need some help?” Yuki asked.

“Oh! Thank you Yuki, I sure need help” Tadashi put some books on Yuki’s hands.

“Ufh…. And what is this spring ball you’re talking about?” Yuki questioned.

“Oh… I forgot, you didn’t start here in the first day of school. Spring ball is the celebration where also all the rich families go together and arrange marriages to their sons and daughters” Tadashi said.

“Eh!? Arrange marriage?! And why on Earth are the students happy about that?! I mean… arranged marriage… it’s forcing someone to you even though you don’t have any feelings for each other” Yuki complained.

“How about you Yuki? You and Shinichi were married because of your parents’ right? In your young age too” Tadashi said.

“But… it was different that time” Yuki looked down as she remembered the time that Shinichi’s parents told them that they will be engaged.

“Different? How different?” Tadashi asked.

“We were childhood friends since elementary” Yuki said.

“Ohh…. Almost all the students here have childhood friends that they will be engaged with” Tadashi suddenly said.

“Eh!? Really? I didn’t know that…” Yuki said innocently.

“Wops! Were here already Yuki” Tadashi stopped at a room.

“Hm? This classroom-- Eh!? This is Shinichi’s classroom! What are we doing here?!” Yuki was beginning to panic.

“Calm down Yuki, we are just here to deliver these papers” Tadashi said as he opened the door.

“Oh yeah, right” Yuki calmly exhaled and opened the door.

Inside was a complete chaos with the student council. The president who was Shinichi and the vice-president who was Yuuko were fighting.

“Why?! Why do you always ignore me? I thought that when I’m the vise-president of the student council, then you will notice me. But why do you always ignore me?!” The girl shouted in angry.

Shinichi ignored her and continued writing papers and suddenly glanced at the girl “The girl who I will always like and will always protect is--“

The girl backed off “Umm… the papers are--“ Yuki said but the girl didn’t notice her and bumped her, the papers were all messed as it settled down the girl noticed that Shinichi was already carrying her.

“Eh?? Wh-what happened? Why are you carrying me? Shin-chan!” Yuki was confused and fainted.

“Shinichi, is Yuki alright?” Tadashi looked at the pale face of Yuki.

“Shin-chan? Why did Tanaka-san call you Shin-chan?” Yuuko stood up as she stared at Shinichi with doubtful eyes.

“You should probably know by now…” Shinichi suddenly said and went outside of the classroom to the clinic.

“So you were already protecting Yuki from the beginning…. I was already dumped a long time again… I’m so stupid” Yuuko cried.

“If you want, you can try liking me?” Tadashi jokingly said.

“I’ll never love anyone except Shinichi” Yuuko ran out of the classroom crying.

“Arah, such a stubborn lady. Well, I’m also stubborn too. I like Yuki even now” Tadashi talked to himself as he picked up the papers.

“Then how about forcing Yuki to love you?” Tadashi’s mother suddenly appeared.

Tadashi stood up and stared at her mother with a deadly aura “I’ll never force Yuki to love me” Tadashi said.

“My… you really are stupid my son” Tadashi’s mother said.

“I don’t want to force her to love me or even to beg for her heart” Tadashi said.

“Then you’ll stay are a person that will comfort her wounded heart as your own heart will get more wounded?” Tadashi’s mother questioned him.

“I will, because I love her” Tadashi said.

The next day, everyone continued on their work as the anniversary approaches. When a announcement suddenly appeared as the president of the student council will choose someone that he will be engaged with.

“Whoah! Yuki! I think Shinichi will propose to you” Tadashi said.

“I hope that’s true…” Yuki secretly blushed.

“If that’s the case… let’s make you the prettiest girl in the ball” Tadashi said.

“Ehhhh?? I don’t want make up… I like using my glasses and I’ll be uncomfortable if I don’t wear them” Yuki refused.

“Pllleeeasssee” Tadashi begged with puppy eyes.

“Ugh… your doing it again…” Yuki backed away.

“Please Yuki-chan” Tadashi begged.

“Fine… I’ll permit make-up but I’ll erase it in thirty minutes when the ball starts” Yuki said.

“Deal!” Tadashi shook hands with Yuki and suddenly ran away.

The day of the anniversary has finally arrived. Everyone was in elegant dresses. While Yuki was preparing herself for the Spring ball.

“Waaa!! Why should I put make-up and wear this dress? It doesn’t suit me! I look like a princess” Yuki complained.

“You don’t like being a princess Yuki-chan? It really looks pretty on you” Jeanne said as she put some blush-on.

“I just only need to play a piano piece, why should I have to be very pretty? Oww… I think I’m beginning to get ill… I need my glasses” Yuki complained.

“Come on Yuki-chan! Every guy inside the ballroom will fall in love with you” Jeanne teased.

“Ehh?? I don’t want guys to fall in love with me!” Yuki shouted.

“Alright, alright, I know you’ll never love anyone except Takeshima-kun” Jeanne said.

“Uhh…well…” Yuki was speechless.

“Whoah! You’re blushing!” Jeanne teased.

“Shaddap Jeanne… hmp” Yuki pouted.

“Ahahahaha, it’s really nice teasing you Yuki-chan” Jeanne giggled.

The ball began, Tadashi patiently waited for the door to open as the princess enters.

“Why are they taking so long?” Tadashi looked at his watch “They should be here already”

When suddenly, the door opened and there was Yuki who looked like a princess in her pink gown.

“She’s so pretty….” Tadashi stared at Yuki without blinking.

Everyone inside the room was shocked of Yuki’s transformation. She really looked like a princess, like Cinderella. Shinichi was also shocked and stared at Yuki who he didn’t recognize. The Yuki that Shinichi knew was a girl who didn’t like make-up and dresses and was always wearing huge glasses and making herself ugly. But tonight was a different Yuki, a Yuki that Shinichi never knew. The prettiest princess that didn’t want to expose her beauty has now showed it to people. Shinichi slowly approached Yuki and suddenly kissed her hand. Everyone was shocked and knew who Shinichi decided to propose.

“Everyone, I think you have a slight clue on whom I chose” Shinichi said and looked at Yuki “Will you marry me?” Shinichi asked in front of all the students.

“I’m sorry but I refuse” Yuki shockingly said.

“Yuki…” Jeanne looked at Yuki who had a depressed face.

“Your too naïve Shinichi, did you think that I love you until now? With all the hardships I went through because of loving you” Yuki scolded.

“I know you’ll never accept me again, I’m sorry” Shinichi apologized.

“It’s so hard loving you Shinichi!” Yuki ran away.

“Yuki-chan!” Tadashi followed Yuki.

Everyone looked at Shinichi with pity. As Yuki ran to the garden and cried.

“Yuki…. Why did you refuse Shinichi?” Tadashi asked and sat down beside her.

“It was too easy for him… It was too easy for him to forget all what he did and suddenly propose a marriage to me” Yuki replied.

“But you were happy that he wanted to be with you again, did you?” Tadashi looked at the starry sky.

“I was happy but I just can’t forgive the things he did” Yuki said.

“Stop crying now, look” Tadashi pointed at the sky “I’ll give you the brightest star and if you feel sad, that star will make you smile” Tadashi smiled.

“Tadashi….” Yuki stared at Tadashi and looked at the star “Thank you” was the last word that Tadashi heard and she fell asleep on his shoulder.

The ball continued, Tadashi carries Yuki to her room. As Tadashi put down Yuki on her bed, Tadashi looked at her sleeping face.

“Your so beautiful even when you sleep” Tadashi murmured and slowly he kissed her.

“Yuki--ah….” Jeanne saw Tadashi who almost kissed Yuki.

“Uhh… I just… I’m going” Tadashi went away, feeling embarrassed.

“Arah…the two most popular and handsome guys in the academy has feelings for you Yuki. Aha such a lucky girl” Jeanne giggled and went to sleep.

The next day, Yuki was feeling energetic and went to school with Jeanne. On the way to school, Yuki saw Tadashi who was hiding in the bushes and approached him.

“Tadashi! Good Morning!” Yuki greeted.

Tadashi jumped in surprise and began to panic “Uhh… good morning… Yuki-chan” Tadashi greeted in a embarrassed manner.

“Eh? are you alright? Do you have a fever?” Yuki put her hand on Tadashi’s forehead and checked if he had a fever.

“I’m alright Yuki-chan, don’t worry” Tadashi slowly retreated and quickly ran away.

“Eh?! W-wait Tadashi! Let’s go to school together!” Yuki shouted but Tadashi ran very fast and was out of sight.

“Ahahaha… still embarrassed of what he almost did” Jeanne giggled.

“Eh? What happened? Did something happen when I was asleep?” Yuki asked.

“Nope, nothing” Jeanne replied.

“What is it Jeanne? Tell me!” Yuki begged.

“Don’t ask me, ask Tadashi” Jeanne laughed.

“Moouu… not telling me is unfair” Yuki complained.

At the academy, everyone had an awkward feeling when they see Yuki. Yuki continued to pretend that nothing happened until she saw Shinichi and suddenly felt depressed.

Tadashi suddenly appeared and patted Yuki’s shoulder “Don’t mind them Yuki” Tadashi said and suddenly hugged her.

“Ehhh?? What are you doing Tadashi?!” Yuki panicked and tried to escape Tadashi’s hug but it was too tight.

Tadashi pointed to Shinichi “Yuki is mine! I’ll never give her back to you! If you really love her until now… then prove it” Tadashi shouted.

“Oi, Tadashi, what are you talking about? Everyone is looking at us” Yuki whispered.

“In the end of the school year, Yuki will choose between the two of us. She will decide on who she truly loves” Tadashi said.

“Tadashi…” Yuki stopped struggling.

“Huh? Why did you stop struggling Yuki?” Tadashi looked at Yuki who already fainted because the hug was too tight “Ehhh?? Yuki!? Are you alright?” Tadashi panicked and carried her to the clinic.

Yuki woke up in the clinic but no one was there. The nurse was not at service and Tadashi was not waiting for her to wake up. Jeanne suddenly opened the door, she was panting and was beginning to panic.

“Yuki! Tadashi and Takeshima-kun are fighting with real swords!” Jeanne said.

“Eh!? Where?” Yuki stood up.

“In the fencing room” Jeanne said and sat down.

“I’ll try stopping them” Yuki went out of the clinic and went to the fencing room.

Tadashi and Shinichi were really fighting with real swords. Tadashi was wounded in the upper hip as to Shinichi who was wounded in his leg.

“You two, stop fighting!” Yuki shouted, but the two continued.

“I think even you Yuki will not stop them” Yuuko was behind Yuki who was watching the two fight.

Yuki was beginning to get pissed and picked up a broad sword “I said… STOP FIGHTING!” Yuki threw the sword and luckily it hit between Tadashi and Shinichi and stopped their fight.

“Yuuuki! That was dangerous!” Tadashi scolded.

“If you threw that and it hit one of us then you’ll really pay the hospital bill” Shinichi added.

“SHUT UP! HOW ABOUT YOU TWO!? LOOK AT YOURSELVES! Being wounded like that… you two are very stupid kids! I’ll never choose between the two of them! Damn it!” Yuki walked out of the room, leaving everyone silent.

“Shinichi, is Yuki really like that when she gets really pissed?” Tadashi asked.

“No, this is the first time that she was really pissed out” Shinichi replied.

“She’s really looked like a monster” Tadashi said.

“Why did I fall in love with a wild monster?” Shinichi questioned his self.

“I think because she is a wild monster” Tadashi answered.

Tadashi and Shinichi laughed and stopped fighting. Yuki, who was very pissed, went out of the academy and ate some burger in a café.

“Tsk! Even now I’m totally pissed. Those two… fighting like that” Yuki murmured as she ate her burger.

“Ohhh Who made you pissed Yuki-chin?” A voice suddenly asked.

“Two people that acted like kids, swinging swords and getting wounded” Yuki replied.

“Wow, I think they really fought because of you Yuki-chin” The voice said.

“They fought because of me!? Ha! That’s definitely impossible!” Yuki sneered.

“Ohh? You think so Yuki-chin?” The voice said.

“By the way, who in the world are-- !!” Yuki turned and was surprised, It was Ryuu.

“Yo! Long time no see Yuki-chin” Ryuu greeted.

“Ryuu-kun!! I missed you!” Yuki hugged Ryuu and cried like a baby.

“Why are you suddenly crying Yuki-chin?” Ryuu gave Yuki a handkerchief.

“It’s because I’m happy that I met someone that I know in Japan” Yuki wiped her tears and stared at Ryuu with a very happy face.

“With how you acted… It was been really hard for you to adjust in England, did it?” Ryuu sat down and ate a donut he bought.

“Yeah… too much happened here, I think I want to go back to Japan already” Yuki replied.

“How about Takeshima-kun? Did you see him already?” Ryuu asked.

“Yeah, but--“ Yuki paused.

“So… it didn’t go well between you two?” Ryuu drank some soft drink.

“When I first met him, He ignored me until now… but yesterday he proposed to me” Yuki said.

“Eh!? Isn’t that great Yuki-chin!” Ryuu tried to cheer Yuki.

“He was really ridiculous… he just suddenly proposed to me with all the effort I did. I refused him proposal” Yuki said in a depressed voice.

“Ehhh!! You refused the handsomeness of Shinichi Takeshima!?” Ryuu shouted.

“Ryuu! People are staring at us!” Yuki calmed Ryuu down.

“Yeah, I refused him proposal… but that time, I really felt happy that he proposed to me but was disappointed that he didn’t get any guilt on his face with all the things I did for him to notice me” Yuki smirked and made a sad face.

“I think you refused him because you have some affection to someone else?” Ryuu suddenly said.

Yuki was shocked when Ryuu said that and suddenly thought about Tadashi and blushed “Th-that’s not true!” Yuki refused to believe what the truth was… that she liked Tadashi and had affections to him.

“Your blushing Yuki-chin” Ryuu pointed at Yuki’s red face.

“Ehh?? I’m not blushing” Yuki covered her face from embarrassment.

“Well, just choose between the two. The one who you really love” Ryuu frankly said and stood up.

“Ryuu-kun… I--“ Yuki was speechless.

“I’m going back to Japan already. I was only here because Marie and Dylan were worried on what happened to you and wanted me to give you this letter” Ryuu handed over the letter to Yuki and bid farewell.

“A letter? Uh, wait Ryuu-kun!” Yuki wanted to stop Ryuu but paused and looked at the letter with a smile.

Dear Yuki-chan,

This is Marie, I hope your well. Me and Dylan are really worried of you!

You should go back to Japan already! Were waiting here for you.

Bring Shinichi with us too, okay?

Oh yah! You know… me and Dylan are already dating.

Ahehehehe You envious? Of course not!

You already have Shinichi right?

I hope you did not cry there because I’ll really go directly there and punch Shinichi in the face!

I really miss you Yuki-chan.

Marie

“Marie… I miss you too. I wish I can see your face again” Yuki murmured to herself and cried.

Yuki slept in content and the next day a announcement said that it was a holiday because it was raining. Yuki felt that the announcement was very stupid, just because it was raining and they suddenly say that it’s a holiday. That’s definitely STUPID!

“Yuki-chan? Are you alright?” Jeanne asked.

“I’m definitely not fine Jeanne” Yuki pouted.

“Don’t be disappointed because it’s a school holiday. Isn’t it nicer because you can take a rest from school?” Jeanne said.

“No it’s not…. Just because it’s raining is a stupid reason for them to make it a holiday” Yuki complained.

“Hmm… I think Takeshima-kun is at the school” Jeanne thought.

“Eh? Shinichi? Why?” Yuki was suddenly curious.

“I remember him saying that same complain that you just said and continued going to school even it rains and they say that it’s a holiday” Jeanne said.

“I… I’ll go to school” Yuki packed her things and ran to school.

The school was very quiet, the hallway that was always noisy was now very quiet with only the rains sound that echoes through it. Yuki slowly walked in the quiet hallways without disturbing the sound of the rain. Yuki was dumbfounded and looked at the window and suddenly cried. Without noticing, Shinichi was looking at her.

“Why are you crying?” Shinichi suddenly broke the silence.

“Eh? Shinichi, you were here? I thought you were in your classroom” Yuki tried to act normal but suddenly looked down.

“Why are you here? They said that it’s already holiday, then why are you here?” Shinichi asked again.

“I heard that you were here so… I want to know if you really went to school… ahaha, I think it’s really true” Yuki replied.

“Is that really the reason? Or is it because you wanted to see me?” Shinichi smiled.

“N-no! I’ll never have that idea! I just wanted to prove that they were wrong and you were not really in school” Yuki didn’t want to have an eye contact with Shinichi.

“Oh… I see” That was only the thing that came out of Shinichi’s mouth.

“That’s all you can say? How about telling me that you were happy that I wanted to see you? How about saying that you really missed me….” Yuki shuddered in confusion and ran away.

“Yuki!” Shinichi followed Yuki.

Yuki ran in the pouring rain and continued crying. Shinichi ran and reached her and suddenly hugged her.

“Why!? Why do I always make you cry?! I’ve always tried to make you smile but I end up make you crying more, I always wanted to see your smile everyday but I only see a sad Yuki. That’s why I decided to be far away from you so that you’ll forget about me so that you’ll find another person that really deservers your love and will make you smile always, I know it was really careless of me that I left you without saying goodbye but it’s because I LOVE YOU!” Shinichi suddenly said, tightly hugging Yuki.

“Shin-chan… you idiot, I know you love me even now. I just waited for you to tell me the truth. Heh, such a stupid reason to leave me. I always tried to smile because you had that depressed face but I always show you that sad face because of my own problems, I’m sorry for letting you down” Yuki apologized.

“Yuki…” Shinichi suddenly cried and kissed Yuki’s forehead.

A person with a black umbrella was standing in front of them and suddenly laughed “Ehhhh?? So you two are already peace? So that means…. I really did lose to Shinichi already?” The man said.

“Who are you?” Shinichi asked.

“Whoah! You don’t realize my voice!? Idiot, it’s only me” Tadashi removed his raincoat’s hood.

“Tadashi!” Yuki said in surprise.

“So you saw what happened?” Shinichi stared at Tadashi with a demonic aura.

“Sigh This is so troublesome, So I really need to give up on Yuki already?” Tadashi looked at Yuki who was soaking wet.

“Eh?” Yuki was confused.

“Yeah, you should give up now because Yuki is MINE” Shinichi smirked.

“No…” Tadashi answered.

“Eh? Tadashi” Yuki looked clueless.

“So your continuing the battle?” Shinichi questioned.

“Ohh… yes I want to… but I’m going to be engaged soon so I think I will pass” Tadashi frankly said.

“Whoah! Tadashi, your getting engaged?!” Yuki was surprised.

“Yup, and to a cute girl too” Tadashi grinned.

“Wow, that’s really nice Tadashi” Yuki innocently smiled.

“I’ll stop my engagement if Yuki wants me to” Tadashi suddenly said.

“Eh? what does that me?” Yuki looked very confused and clueless.

“Sorry if she’s too dense” Shinichi patted Tadashi’s shoulder.

“Don’t worry, she’s not dense at all. She’s just pretending that my engagement is not true” Tadashi stared at Yuki in a seducing way.

“If you really want to continue the battle, then don’t cause more trouble by hurting a girl” Shinichi said.

“Hurting a girl!? O my God! Your gonna ditch the girl your going to be engaged with!?” Yuki said, very shocked.

“Because I like Yuki-chan and my heart will never be someone else’s” Tadashi answered.

“Tadashi… you like me?” Yuki asked.

“Eh!? Oh… I just remembered… you fell asleep when I said I liked you that day when you ditched Shinichi with his proposal to you” Tadashi scratched his head.

“Ehhh!! You like me? As in… as a lover?” Yuki questioned.

“Yes” Tadashi happily answered.

“For some reason… why do you have so many rivals Shinichi?” Yuki looked at Shinichi.

“Eh!? I don’t know! It’s your fault because you’re too cute!” Shinichi said.

“Ehhhhhhhhh!? I’m cute!? You told me I looked like a frog!? You liar!” Yuki scolded.

“Even with all that fake freckles and huge glasses, your waaaaay too cute for Pete’s sake!” Shinichi shouted back.

“Eh? Fake freckles and huge glasses?” Tadashi didn’t understand what they were talking about.

“Well… you see Yuki here, had the habit of wanting to be ugly and put huge glasses and nerdy stuff to make herself ugly” Shinichi explained.

“Eh? She hated being pretty?” Tadashi said, dumbfounded.

“Yes, but unfortunately she’s too cute when her eyes are revealed in those huge glasses and made people that saw her eyes… make them fall in love at first sight” Shinichi said.

“I should have put shades instead of huge glasses” Yuki thought to herself while imagining her nerdy outfit.

“She has those very cute sparkling eyes that make anyone fall in love with her. I was the only one who wasn’t affected because we have been together since elementary” Shinichi said.

“So that’s why she didn’t like wearing those fancy stuff” Tadashi just realized.

“Yeah… Many were attracted to her… even girls” Shinichi whispered.

“Eh!? even girls!? But… you really didn’t get affected the first time you saw her eyes?” Tadashi asked.

“Uhhh…” Shinichi suddenly blushed.

“Heh, you really did became a victim after all” Tadashi laughed.

“Oi! You two! Your always talking there! The rain is still pouring, we should go back to school” Yuki went ahead of them.

“I think I know why you fell in love with her” Tadashi teased.

“H-how then!?” Shinichi suddenly panicked.

“I think because she has that personality that will really give an impression to people” Tadashi answered.

“Yeah… I think so too” Shinichi agreed.

“Waaa! I think I really want to give up already!” Tadashi suddenly said.

“Eh!? Already?” Shinichi said.

“Because now I know that you really love her… but if you make her cry again then I’ll definitely sue you and take her away and you’ll never see her again” Tadashi smiled.

“Oiiii!! You two are too slow! I’m really going ahead already!” Yuki shouted and ran ahead.

“Yeah... I promise I’ll never make her cry again… because we were destined for each other” Shinichi smiled.

I really liked the ending sniff but I didn’t think that it will be finished already. I hope you people liked it! I’ll make more stories so keep reading, okay?

Okay… I’ll tell you what happened to Yuki and Shinichi so you’ll be contented… some how XD

Shinichi and Yuki graduated and got married again and God witnessed their love for each other. They had one son and daughter and lived in the mansion. Ryuu found the most important person in his life and married. As to Marie and Dylan… well, they got married and had eight children. Tadashi became the principal at the Academy and Jeanne as her fiancée.
