The Forest by the Sun

Have you ever imagined,

Where spirits dwell before birth?

In stories old, or so I am told,

I believe they come from the Earth.

I’ve seen that shining valley,

Set foot on a sandy shore.

They come and go, in dreams that flow

And I pray to visit once more.

The place is filled with peace,

With love and full of light,

With towering trees and flowers that breathe,

In a forest so full of life.

xxx

I see it now before me,

I move forward, moving on,

I hear them sing on a whispering wind

And I know it’s where I belong

xxx

Fear not, my dearest child,

For your time will surely come.

And on that day, I’ll guide the way

And we’ll meet in the forest by the sun.
