CHAPTER 2 BOOK 1

It’s my first night in the house Emily is going to make me dinner and while I’m waiting for dinner Brittney wanted to show me her doll collection so were sitting in the living room Bri showing me her doll’s when then there was a knock at the door Ang would you mind getting that so I get up and open the door and there were two gorgeous guys the front one had pointy brown hair and in the back the guy had dirty blonde hair to his shoulders he was wearing a pink shirt he had beautiful eye’s they were a purple silver color and both the guys are both extremely cute. ”Hi I’m Max and you are” Oh ya as I snap back into my head again I find away to say my name’s Angie I’m renting a room from Emily Hi Angie I’m Kevin the gorgeous blonde say’s. Hi Kevin hi Max come on in. Emily Kevin and Max are here “Okay be rite out” “so were you from” me I’m from Florida “oh cool so what are you doing here” U..m it’s kinda personal maybe once get to know each other” “oh so were going to get to know each other how about we get to know each other at a party tomorrow at Rox the club on Main Street”. “ Me you Emily and Dracula over there” pointing at Kevin can go. Dracula? “Ya ..UM high school nickname” Sure me and Em will have to talk about it but I’m all for it. ”Hey guys what’s up both guys stand up to greet Em with hug’s “Angie this is Max my brother and this is Kevin his friend wares Tommy “Oh he had to go to a V.C. M”.V.C. M I think to myself . Tom’s my boyfriend Em says. Cool so is he going to the club. “What club the one at Rox I forgot to tell you they invited us to go“. “Nice I’m so for it” Oh but what about Brittney I say. Bri can stay at my mom’s house for the night incase we wanna bring the partie back to our house. So anyway why are you guys here ? Emily asks.

“Um we wanted to meet you’re new roommate” Well you meet her now time for us to have dinner so by by. As Em is pushing the guys out the door they’re both trying to stay but it doesn’t work soon the door is shut and locked and were eating the best meat loaf and potatoes ever made then in the middle of dinner Em gives me a present “wow thanks wonder what it is” it’s nothing just a welcome to you’re new home gift. I unwrap the gift and it’s a beautiful silver necklace exactly like Em’s necklace. Wow thanks now we have matching necklaces

Bri has one to in pink. What do the eye thing’s mean . The stone is to protect you from evil darkness also it goes with every outfit we both giggle “thanks so much for the necklace I love it” “no problem it was my pleasure” I lean over the table and give Emily a hug then give Bri a little kiss on her nose, her nose is so cute. After dinner I help Em with the dishes than we have ice cream with Bri in the living room after dessert Bri fall’s asleep on my lap so than Em takes Bri to her room and puts her in bed than 5 minuets later comes back down and sits in the chair next to the couch. ”So how old were you when you had Bri? “too young but she’s my life and I love her and will love her till the day I die” “do you mind if I ask who her dad is” know not at all um her dad died in a u..m car accident he had gotten very sick and started to get mean he was one of the most wanted vam..people in the town he was abusing me it wasn’t his fault he had gotten sick to the point that he was so violent he started hitting Bri I then wouldn’t take his crap anymore. Oh wow I thought my life was hard but you’re life is sad and hard. Hun ur mom and dad died I still have my parents who cares about a guy and he’s

gone anyway. We both hug feeling bad for each other. So you wanna watch some TV ya sure. CRASH what was that we both look at each other then get up and start running up the stairs to Bri’s room we got there in time to see a dark figure dragging Bri into the darkness before I know it Emily is running toward the man with a baseball bat and I’m running to grab bri Em hit’s him I grab bri and the man disappears into the night who was that what was that I say to Em who was cradling Bri in her arm’s then hesitates to say I don’t know with the type of voice that sounds I do know but cant tell you. I didn’t care though as long as Bri is okay I kiss Bri on the forehead go down stairs with Em and Bri following grab the phone that was on the couch and called 911 by the time the cops came the guy was surely gone. Hi Angelina I’m Joey um how you feeling “I feel okay I could be better “Joey had short hair and freckles on his cheeks well good to no, no one was hurt so what can you tell me about the intruder? “He was in black clothes and he could well you’re going to think I’m insane but he could fly“. Fly? Ya fly I don’t know how he did it but he did do it “okay well you get some rest and I’m going to talk to Emily see you around and we will do our best to catch the guy” “thanks” Sure no problem just doing my job. Then Joey goes over to Em and start’s talking I watch them as they talk then when Joey spots me he takes Em in the kitchen. I don’t know why but this night has been one of the strangest night’s I go into the kitchen and say goodnight to Joey and Emily. ”Hay um Angie Bri took of her necklace could you go and put it on her, please” Ya sure “thanks “ No problem. So I go into the living room and find Bri on the couch with her necklace in her hands. Bri how are you are you okay “yes” here let me put you’re necklace on you “okay thanks” I put on Bri’s necklace and she looks so cute. “Now you look like a little princess again “ she giggles but still shakes a little bit it was very hard on her so I give her a kiss on the nose and say goodnight and head towards my room I get up to my room put on pajamas and climb into bed before I knew it I was sound asleep like a baby. Sniff I wake up to the smell of fresh coffee and I sniff the air donut’s I say to myself in a whisper I jump out of bed put my favorite pink slippers and run down the stair’s I take a right into the kitchen and see on the table two clean and one that was eaten of off probably by Brittney .“Good morning Emily” Good morning how’s our new roomy doing I’m doing great you “um I’m okay” ware’s Bri “you just missed her, her school bus just came. How is she doing ? She’s just 4 she’s fine I wish I was as fine as her I walk over to Em and gave her a hug I couldn’t imagine having my daughter almost taken. “I’m okay want some donut’s and coffee” Oh ya definitely im not the kinda girl who passes up donuts. I walk over to the coffee cups and make some coffee than grab a jelly filled donut so what do you have to do today Em? Well I figured if you’re looking for a job you could work at Mandy’s for 3 dollars an hour but the tips are great and also I took the day of to show you around the town. Sounds great. Well I’m done eating you wanna go now I just have to throw on some clothes. “ya I’m ready “ I run up stairs go through my bag grab my black tank and black jeans and run downstairs to find Em standing in the doorway I grab my keys but I think were taking her car we get into her older mustang and start driving away from the house. “what’s that in the road moving” I don’t know speed up let’s see what it is. As we move faster and faster the object becomes even more clear it’s a little girl dragging herself across the road her legs look like raw meat. Get out stop the car it’s a girl I run out of the car to the girl but it was to late her face and arms that weren’t covered are burned and the girl has died of a terrible death Emily comes out to see the girl lying there as she is calling the cops . Emily who could burn a child then shred her legs and leave her to die “I don’t know” tears run down my cheeks pore girl she looks like she’s only five or six than I notice two small holes in the s face and under her burn marks she looks very very pale. After a few minuets the cops arrive and they ask us what happened Joey wasn’t there he must have to be somewhere else. We tell the other cop’s everything even about last night since it might help but I don’t know if it will or not this guy is crazy and amazing how he can just disappear, just like he did in Bri’s room last night .
