Chapter 12

Sooo… I guess I screwed up again……

Theli was the type that made people cry, but that usually didn’t bother him - actually, that made him horny, as a certain rapidly hardening body part clearly proved even at that moment – but it did bother him when he didn’t make them cry on purpose. Therefore, as he was left staring at the door through which Eri ran out, he felt trapped between pent up desire and pure guilt. For him to feel guilty was… uncharacteristic, but it didn’t mean that when he did have this rare feeling he had it at a lesser degree than any other sapient creature. The other problem was that he had always liked submissive bed partners and the little bird’s sudden departure was a clear sign that he would be the kind of lover Theli appreciated most. His lust was making him feel more like a prick, which in turn made him even more aroused. A vicious circle that slowly escalated, while he was still staring blankly at the door.

Sigh…… I need to jack off so badly…

The acceptance of his less than pure desires broke the loop of his emotions, also liberating him from a moral dilemma. Theli’s personality was simply built like that – with an inborn self-preservation mechanism.

He wrapped his fingers around his dick in a well practiced manner and started sliding his foreskin up and down the wet tip of his member. Visions of sparkling tears and blue feathers danced in Theli’s mind while his hand moved with increasing speed – he didn’t want to prolong this unnecessarily. Suddenly one of the images summoned for erotic purposes seemed to gain a life of its own, trapping Theli in a slower, more delectable rhythm. Ivory thighs spread out and held in place by black leather straps. A rounded, soft skin bottom, with indecent red marks from scratches and bites. The Leviathan felt himself growing unbearably hard, while his hand, still trapped in the slow but vigorous up and down movement, was bathed in precum. The gentle flapping of azure wings combined with the tremor of the young acolyte’s body… would he be loud? Would he scream in ecstasy? How would his flushed, crying face look like? Ah… but the last of the questions in Theli’s mind already had an answer: beautiful, arousing, fragile … perfect. Another flash gripped him: Eri on his knees, looking over his shoulder with tears on his eyelashes and holding his ass cheeks open in a totally submissive position. Theli’s movements sped up immediately and he felt his release as strongly as if he had actually fucked someone and not merely pleasured himself.

He slowly licked his seed from the hand he had held over the tip of his dick. He liked doing that for some strange reason. It also meant he didn’t have to worry about cleaning up, making it a very convenient kink.

I should go after that young Viridian. I wonder where he hid himself.

If that cutie was still crying because of some weird hurt sensitivities then Theli would kiss him to make it all better… Ah… If only a kiss could be the answer! The problem was that it became painfully obvious to the Leviathan that he had no understanding of the object of his affections. Affection? Or was it just lust? The two had been known to merge and get confused in his mind on previous occasions. After the first couple of times Theli had learned not to trust his “feelings”.

Feelings are good, but also bad. One must now when they should be followed and when not. But how?

Sometimes my mage instincts and my body’s reactions clash and I do not know how to act. Being a Leviathan mage is at the core of my being and is what makes me powerful, while my the responses of my body were forged through the complex experience gained through survival. How can I choose?

Thoughts continued to twist in his head, overlapping theories, sorting ideas, asking questions and analyzing that which was known. They grew ever more abstract and random and complicated. On the outside one could see proof of this agitated inner condition in the way the beast’s eyes turned to brightly lit coals and other small changes of the immobile body.

What was happening was that after indulging his fantasies and desires with that little masturbation session he had engaged in yet another sinful activity: thinking! Yes… Theli, as all large monsters, had a tendency towards letting his mind wonder and forgetting about reality. Following the general tendency of big predators to eat a lot and afterwards to need quite some time to assimilate it all, Leviathans, a race of mages, had adapted so that their largest varieties – such as the dragons – would not need to waste time after they had had a nice meal, but would rather fall into trances every time they got introspective. These trances would often lead to a sort of hibernation state such as the one that was said to had helped Kei’Afu find the solution to the Dilemma of Transmutation. That kind of character was useful for the digestion of large prey and to finding the answer to the meaning of life and other such questions, but it was NOT at all useful to the kind of life one lead in a human body, more so, in the kind of life this particular Sodoran was living. As a result, Theli, though he leaned towards being the scholarly, introspective type, had decided some hundreds of years ago that thinking was, for him, a sinful activity: it was greatly pleasurable, but highly dangerous to his safety, as a citizen of the Floating City had to permanently be aware of his surroundings, thus should not be directing all of his attention to an internal monologue regarding the theory of life as an alternate form of death and how magic could be used to blur the boundary of the understanding in…. yes... Thinking was FORBIDEN! That’s why he liked having Eztli around. It was a mind that would never lose itself - like Theli’s tended to do - and that also had the wonderful attributes of being sharp and available.

So, there he was, heading towards deep hibernation…Theli did not realize that quite some time has passed. He might have remained there if traces of his recently used spell weren’t still active. He was calmly staring at a bug that had been splashed against the wall and would have remained in that particular position till somebody entered the room and shook him out of it - that is, IF this hypothetical savior would arrive before Theli got in too deep, and before he his body started naturally reverting towards its true form. But the Leviathan had used high level magic in that place only hours before and this kind of magic tended to be very efficient and eager to serve the one that cast it. As a result a strong vision seeped through and awoke his hibernating consciousness: Ez, in all his sexy glory - that usually was kept hidden from his Komo’s eyes - prowling on a naked, wet and innocent Erigeron.

What in all of Ktisis…?

The need to rip the flesh off Eztli’s bones was the best incentive the Leviathan ever had to snap back to reality.

Oh shit! I almost transformed again! was Theli’s second thought. Going all catatonic because you are too busy being a meditative Leviathan was something that endangered this particular beast’s love agenda.

He was definitely not thinking anymore now. His mind was filled with the nastiest curses he has heard throughout his life, some of them directed at Ez, while others were setting the blame on his own stupidity, on his unlucky fate or on the revengeful Twin Goddesses that his birdie served. He vented a small fraction of this anger by giving a roar that stemmed from the depth of his heart. Hopefully that damned Gashi will also hear it… He had no patience now for mind talk and spells and, as his wings vibrated with strength, though they were barely half their normal size, he leaped through the nearest window into the Tower’s courtyard, knowing that they were more than powerful enough to carry his still human form.

Theli could see the acolyte standing next to a small reservoir filled with rain water. The little one had long, wet strands of hair tangled in his wings, which were yet again being used as a paravan to conceal his nakedness. Eztli was just a few steps from the birdie and his body posture left no doubt in Theli’s mind that this time he had been more than just the usual quiet and coldly analyzing presence. The Komo-Nubayo has seen his Gashi like this only a few times – and each of those times had been when Ez was off-duty and trying to get someone in his bed.

The Leviathan landed right next to Erigeron and, without a conscious decision, he plastered himself against him, adding the extra protection and concealment of his scaly black and red wings to the feathery azure ones, thus hugging him tightly in a rather unique manner.

All of this happened in a manner of seconds: precisely as long as it took Theli to warn his Gashi off the acolyte, telling him to “live him the hell alone” in a venomous voice.

“Komo, I’m hurt… That's how you greet me? I feel like you completely abandoned me…” the Gashi said, making a shocked face, while he added in a sarcastic inner voice “Possessive, aren’t we?”.

How dare you make a move on someone you know is MINE?” Theli answered in mind-talk, not trying to deny the accusation of possessiveness, as both of them knew all too well that it was true. What bothered Theli was that Ez had the audacity to toy with his temper.

Ah…but because I’m messing with this naïve boy you are now resting your dangling parts against his firm little rear.”

Theli’s anger subsided immediately. He knew Eztli. More importantly he knew that though loyal, Eztli was highly independent and loved to create and follow through weird, complicated plans. “What?” He asked, feeling rather confused.

Well…I stumbled upon a nice opportunity to harass the youngster, knowing that you will come to ‘save’ him from my evil clutches.”

Theli ignored a big part of Eztli’s words, as they were making him all too aware that there was nothing covering either his or the Viridian’s body, which was indeed rubbing against him most deliciously. He thanked all the gods that he had recently indulged his ‘dangling parts’ and focused on the fact that Ez mentioned harassment.

“Are you okay, pretty bird? What did he do?”

Hopefully the boy will tell him the facts and not start weird mental conversation that were in total disagreement with the things he spoke out loud, as it were the case with his incredibly annoying Gashi.

. “I… I apologize… it was my fault… it’s really nothing… Please don’t fight with your…” was all that could be understood from the words that were chocked by a new crying outburst. On all the plague of Sodora! Not again!

“Eezzzz!!” The Leviathan growled his subordinate’s name. “He’s crying! And this time I’m sure why: it’s because of you!”

This time?”

Ez… I’m going to…”

“Ok, ok, Komo… You’re no fun when you’re like this…”

“Ez, apologize to Eri… and please explain…”

“Prince Erigeron, I apologize for my behaviour. It was undignified and unworthy of my position.”

“No, really… it’s quite all right…” the Viridian started saying, while gently whipping his tears that seemed to not have stopped their flow entirely.

Ez had used his dignified voice, the one he reserved for dealing with high political figures, but Theli could see that he was barely containing his laughter. The birdie was still sobbing and the bastard was amused. “Ahhh……. I’m going to kill you…” Theli mentally cursed the Gashi.

But only if things with this royal cutie don’t work out…” Ez added in an all-knowing voice that Theli particularly hated.

Meanwhile Eri continued into the moment of silence created by their mental exchange: “You were right to be like that. I mean… I’m intruding in your… umm… relationship…”

That snapped the Leviathan’s attention right back to the trembling figure in his arms. Damn. I hope he’s trembling only because he got cold. He is still slightly wet after all. The short though passed quickly through Theli’s mind.

“Please, just… don’t fight… it’s not worth it… losing your love over something like this…” Eri kept implying something between me and Ez??

“Ezzzz!! I think you have something more to say…”

“Right. Well…” The traces of amusement had disappeared from the Gashi’s countenance as he noticed that his Komo was getting near a dangerous line with his temper. “I might have accidently induced you to think that the Komo and I are lovers, which is not correct.”

Pfff… I can’t believe the nerve you have! Trying to make me seem a hero? You say it was all planned? Well? How about this misunderstanding? Did you plan this, too?” Theli was internally simmering.

“Continue, please…” The birdie had to hear the explanation from the one who created the confusion. If Theli had tried to explain it probably wouldn’t have sounded believable enough.

“I knew you thought I was his lover, although in my defence it was not my intention to make it appear like this was the situation. I apologize for complicating a situation that is complicated as it is.”

Yes. Of course you knew about his misunderstanding. I there anything that goes on in the boy’s mind that you do not know?” then Theli quickly added “Don’t answer that.” He decided to forget about Ez for now. He will find a punishment later. The Leviathan brought his lips close to the ear of the one in his arms and he didn’t whisper talking in a lower tone, but in a voice that would also be heard by his mind reading subordinate.

“He’s my Gashi, my second in command.” Theli had to make sure everything was very clear. If he were to have a chance with the beautiful Viridian, then he had to make it obvious that there was not and could not be anything between him and Ez.

“He’s just Ez… like… ummm… my best friend... no… that’s not right… he’s… Ez…” Theli suddenly realised that he should stop trying to explain things. On one hand it made it sound as if he was very forgiving with Eztli and on the other hand he was kind of freaking out realizing that it’s the second time in the last period that he was picturing himself and Ez as a couple. And it doesn’t even seem unlikely! This is all too scary a revelation… This is also a great reason NOT to THINK! Knowing some stuff is plainly weird. The Leviathan put an abrupt stop to any creepy introspection and pierced Eztli with an angry stare.

“I really should have your head for the stunt you pulled.”

Oh, fuck! He was just starting to hold in check his Leviathan side, which was had lately been exposed way too much, when he was engulfed in a cloud of arousal. Why? I didn’t do anything! After instinctively drawing in a large breath Theli decided that he would just go with the flow. He took one step back and bending a bit he easily picked Erigeron up. He finally got a good view of the acolyte’s blushing face surrounded by light coloured hair that had dried in cute little curls on his forehead and around his cheeks. Theli was careful with the blue, fluffy wings, holding his arm just at the right angle for them to settle nicely, cocoon-like.

“Don’t worry little bird… Just don’t worry… I’ll take care of you… ” Theli purred and then with a short glance to Ez he ordered him to follow and to bring the things he came to deliver.

Theli flapped his wings a bit, but decided against flying. The fact that he was turned on didn’t guarantee that his Leviathan features would stay this strong much longer. He feared that his wings would grow weak and unbalance him while flying. That was to be avoided as he was carrying a very important and fragile treasure. One takes no risk with something so valuable. While his feelings were burning with possessiveness the birdie did the cutest thing: he huddled closer to his body, placing his head on Theli’s shoulder. The Leviathan felt hot breath on his neck and felt the tickle of the moist, silky hair.

Maybe you shouldn’t have worried about your ability to fly to the Tower…” Ez’s mental chuckle echoed in his head reflecting perfectly his own feelings as he had felt a twitch of his penis and a resharpening of his teeth.

This young Viridian is going to make me have to come out…”

As a gay Komo-Nubayo?”

No. As a Leviathan Komo-Nubayo.”
