To Which We Succumb
Do not tell me the things which I wish not to hear.
Give in to seduction; it is nothing to fear.
Prologue - Lucian Isafler Vladimir and Brianna Isabelen Calisaya
His kiss sent shivers throughout her body, the pleasure she could not deny. She trembled from the fright, yet she could not refuse this abduction. Her wrists held tightly in his grasp, and her back pushed firmly against his chest, she could feel his every movement, his every breath.
Her neck was exposed to his taking, why he was postponing she did not understand. The light trail of kisses aroused a fire within her that she could not ignore. She moaned in agony, what did he benefit from her torture?
"You are but a beautiful thing" he whispered into her ear.
"And you are so cruel" she managed to rasp out.
"Most would be begging for escape, not provoking me" he pointed out.
"But I am not most. I do not wish to beg for something which I will most certainly not receive" she perceived.
"A wise choice, however I may have altered my decisions in favour of you, but now you shall never know" he tormented.
"If you were so generous to set me free, you would not need my pleading, you would do so on your own accord" she said.
"True as it may be, trying is not worthless"
"So be it, it is too late now" she concluded.
He let go of her wrists and turned her around abruptly, squeezing her to his chest. His freezing hands felt like ice upon her bare shoulders and she shuddered from his touch. He tilted his head lower, his lips but a mere millimetre from hers.
"It is never too late" he said before covering her lips with his own, engulfing her into a world of unknown.
Author Note:
Okay, so I know this sounds really dodgy at the moment, and everyone's probably really confused. But...that's good, I wanted the prologue to be really confusing, but at the same time I hope it draws attention. It's not really...as sexual as it sounds. haha. Perhaps everyone's got the wrong impression, but the next chapter explains much more.
I'd really appriceate some reviews telling me whether or not I should continue posting this.
It's really different to what I usually write, but I'm not in the mood for my other stories and this is something I've been meaning to write. So with a few more ideas and spur of creativity I began writing it. I'd just like to know what others think I guess...
