“All you need is a deep breath...” Olivia reassured herself, following through with this advice as she clasped the hooks on her suitcase. Her dark, gray eyes gave a final look around her room she'd inhabited since birth, a soft sigh fell from pink lips. The entire room was bare now...well, it was bare of all things that she wished to take with her. Now seventeen, almost eighteen, she was considered an adult and free to move out all on her own, not to mention that she'd soon be heading back to high school from Christmas break to finish her senior year. Maybe college would be next...she just wasn't entirely sure right now due to her parent's limited funds. Suddenly a call from downstairs broke through her thoughts and ordered her to come downstairs immediately.

The voice belonged to her mother, and Olivia was quick to obey. She loved her parents more than anything, after all, they had given her life, shelter, love, and pretty much everything else a child deserved to have. Grabbing the final suitcase, as the others which were filled with clothes and shoes were already in the moving truck, she journeyed down the stairs; the suitcase occasionally bumping unpleasantly into the side of her leg. “You ready?” her mother questioned, adamantly positioned at the bottom of the stairs with a smile on her face. Olivia returned the smile as best as possible and breathed deeply once more, “I think so.” she nodded.

Once outside, Olivia threw the suitcase in the back seat of her mother's convertible and then threw her own body into the passenger's seat. “Don't worry,” her mother's voice came before her body as she sat down in the driver's seat, the door slamming loudly in both of their ears, “It's alright to be afraid, moving out for the very first time and all. I remember when I first moved out...I think its safe to say that I was a little more excited than you.” her mother quipped with a laugh while Olivia grimaced. “I'm...excited.” the meek girl protested, her lips turning a little pouty.

“Hey now, you know you can't be Little Miss Hermit Crab if you're going to move in with someone.” Ann smiled inwardly, then outwardly as she watched the shock spread across the Olivia's face. “I'm going to have a roommate?” the girl questioned with a surprised nature. Her mother nodded, slamming to a stop at a red light like she always did. “Please don't tell me that you got a really cheap apartment for me?”

“Oh no,” her mother looked a little taken aback at her accusation, “This was actually a little on the expensive, you know. Having a real estate agent as a mom can come in handy sometimes, Olivia, because now you won't have to pay as much rent.” Olivia frowned again, not even wanting to know what idiocy her mother had pulled on the owner of the apartment building. Obviously she hadn't done anything too threatening, and Olivia didn't even want to think of her mother in a sexual situation...after all, who would? She shuddered, looking away from her mom and out the window.

“Is my stuff already there at least?” she questioned, looking out of the corner of her eyes.

“Yep, should be. The moving truck when on ahead of us.” her mother answered, a little more mellow now.

The rest of the ride was pretty much silent...Olivia was terrible at conversation and even worse at small talk, which was kind of sadly really considering that this was just her mother. The only person she felt like she could really talk to and open to was Bella. Bella was the kind of the girl who got picked on a lot (like Olivia) because she was a little different from the mold of normalcy (like Olivia). Before they had become official friends, teachers would often pair them up for projects and such, one such notable time was in gym. Considering that the two of them never participated, albeit for good and different reasons, the coach had called them out and ordered them to do a 100 push-ups and chin-ups, claiming that they might be able to pass with that. Olivia had just been about to comply, as she pretty much had no fight in her, until Bella had out right refused for the both of them. And here they were as friends.

Olivia stood before the massive building, her heart thumping so loud in her chest, she was afraid that it would spring out at any moment. She gulped, no one there to protect or reassure her now, especially since her mother had zoomed away what seemed like months ago. She wasn't sure how long she'd been standing out here, and she didn't really care...maybe she should just come back later when she felt more confident. Then again, walking to a fast food place with a suitcase in her hand didn't seem very ideal. 'Maybe I can just leave it at the front desk...' she wondered, her hand raising to her chin in fear. She'd never been a courageous person, and this is one of the reason that she despised herself, however that would have to change if she wanted somewhere to sleep tonight...and she did.

The front door not being locked, she entered as quietly as possible for a human being and closed the door behind her in the same. “Can I help you?” someone called out from behind, causing the timid girl to nearly jump out of her skin. Olivia turned her heel to see a terrifying sight. No, it wasn't a monster, but you couldn't have guessed that from the first glance. She swallowed before answering, “Um, yes, I think so. I'm Olivia...um, Olivia Walltower and I'm a new tenant here?” it wasn't meant to be a question, but her voice had squeaked so badly at the end that it had inevitable sounded that way.

The monstrous woman, who was standing in her doorway with some kind of gown on, reached behind the door and produced a clipboard from behind it. Olivia guessed it must have been a record of events or something like that. “Nope, don't see your name.” Olivia's eyes widened, she wasn't sure whether she should be happy or scared. Maybe this was the wrong building and that way this terrifying ogre of a woman wouldn't be her landlady...but then again, the meekness inside of Olivia fought to gain control and poison her thoughts, causing her to imagine tonight she would be sleeping on the harsh ground or something unpleasant like that. Olivia quickly tried again, “No, you see, I'm, uh, a new tenant. I'm moving in this morning.” she watched as the ogre woman's eyes scanned over the clipboard again.

She nodded after a long while, then threw Olivia a pair of keys that she had seemingly pulled from nowhere. Olivia made a quick assumption that it had come from her multitude of pockets on her night gown, fumbling with the keys as she only had one free hand. “Up two floors,” the woman instructed uninterested, “Third door on the left.” And with that she slammed the door...so hard that the accessories on the wall shook. Olivia blinked a few times, still trying to soak in what had happened. Drawing no conclusion from it, she repositioned her grip on the handle of the suitcase and journeyed down the dimly lit hallway to her destination.

Stopping at the elevator, as she to wait for its descent back down to the first floor. She grimaced when she actually laid her eyes on, it looked so...unsafe. She boarded it nonetheless, having to hold her nose from the smell but then again, she knew that she'd have to get used it. After only a short ride, she arrived on the second floor and was completely surprised at what she saw. It wasn't too big of an improvement, but the second floor obviously looked better decorated and furnished. The vases actually held flowers that weren't dead, and the paintings were pleasant to look at...not that she was a big fan of angels and oceans, they were just easy on the eyes unlike the first floor pictures that housed the faces of scary relatives from centuries gone by.

The keys jangling in her hand, Olivia had to squint to read the etched in number of the key, '213'. “Third on the left...” Olivia whispered, repeating the woman's words without realizing. When you stay by yourself as much as Olivia does, you'd start talking to yourself too. Coming to the door, she paused in front of it due to the projection of sound from within it. Olivia couldn't quite make out all the words being said from the mysterious voice...wait, no, there were two voices! Oh great, she cursed inwardly, a roommate with a boyfriend or girlfriend; just what she needed, some cheesy teen bitch rubbing her boyfriend in her face. Suddenly, a loud groan projected from behind the door, Olivia's eyes widening in disbelief, “Big brother...stop, please...I can't go anymore...”

Olivia felt her eyebrow began to twitch...how inappropriate. So obviously, her roommate was being romanced his older brother or sister...or the other way around. She decided on sister considering the voice was a little on the high side and kind of feminine sounding. She was just about to knock when the 'big brother' spoke, “Oh come on, I think you can...” he trailed off (she can tell it was a male this time) in a seductive tone, a loud sucking noise following. Olivia blushed, the gears in her mind producing all kinds of scenarios, but she bit her lip to keep her mind in control. She decided to knock instead of bursting in on the two, swallowing and breathing deeply before performing any of this.

In the next few moments that followed, it seemed as if she had activated a time bomb. The two voices on the other side of the door gasped, and quickly jumped to their feet...either that or falling off the couch. Olivia guessed the later as she waited for more. Padding footsteps of great speed echoed throughout the house, as zippers and buttons were hurriedly put back in their proper manner. After everything had quieted down, Olivia heard a final door slam, then the door in front of her opened suddenly. Her breath caught in her throat at what she saw...the man before her was absolutely beautiful, and even better, she instantly noticed that he smelled good. The man on the other hand, looked at her with disgust and confusion. He leaned against the door frame before answering, “Who are you?”

“Oh,” she piped up after a moment of silence, the man rolling his eyes at her, “I'm Olivia...I'm your new roommate.” she nodded, hoping that she looked alright. She could already feel her cheeks burning with heat at the sight him, luckily, he didn't take notice of this. “Oh yeah,” he stretched the words out in remembrance, “but your not quite what we expected.” Olivia frowned...did he just say 'we'? 'Must have been talking about that other person in here...' she decided, recalling that that person still had not left. Without warning, his eyes suddenly widened and he scanned the hall way rapidly, finally pulling her inside with a slam of the door.

“Well, make yourself at home.” he waved his hand around in a vague motion, his manner bored, “Your room is the only empty one.” he pointed to two rooms, hers obviously the last one furtherest from the bathroom, and then disappeared inside the first room. Olivia's gray eyes scanned the room in the silence that followed. It was completely different from the rest of the apartment building, in that, everything in here looked way more expensive. It looked more like a room from a mansion...or a five-star hotel or something...she mused, dropping the suitcase on the couch as she continued into the kitchen area.

Well, that was pretty much it. It was just an area, considering there wouldn't have been enough room to make a whole other room just for a kitchen. The oven looked clean like it hadn't been used much, and Olivia knew that her presence here wouldn't change that fact. She was a terrible cook! Walking from the kitchen, she noticed a line of pictures on the wall and went to inspect them. A smile lit up her face as she recognized a familiar face...the man from before and what looked to be like a brother. They were happily smiling in nearly all of the pictures, from childhood up until now. Olivia guessed that the other boy must have been his twin, considering the resemblance was so uncanny.

Heading back over to her suitcase, Olivia felt tempted to just sit down and think for a moment. About what, she wasn't totally sure...maybe something about this new roommate. Sure it was bad to snoop into other people's lives, but for some reason, she felt the need to know any and everything about him.

“Excuse me,” she jolted up instantly, “Are you the new roommate?” Olivia's eyebrow crooked, didn't he already know that? Something seemed a little fishy, however, Olivia smiled in good humor, “Um, yes. You met me at the door, remember?” the man nodded before speaking again. “That's good...I just needed to make sure.” the man turned to re-enter the room he emerged from.

“Wait! What's your name?” she asked, finally remembering to do so.

“It's Allan.” he said, his face blank as well as his beautiful green eyes. Olivia stared at the closed door with her arms crossed, something really didn't feel right. Maybe her ears were just deceiving her, but his voice sounded just a little higher than before. Olivia swallowed, a blush appearing on her cheeks, 'Could that have possibly been the voice I heard from before? Then...' her face completely red now, she collapsed on the couch, accidentally knocking her suitcase off as she did so. It seemed that everything was falling into place now...the noises, the pictures, the high voice...they were gay twins!!

Olivia breathed deeply, falling over onto her side. She lay there for a moment, her face still steaming, until she realized her cheek had landed in something wet. Opening her eyes, they dropped down as far as they could to see. Failing in this, she sat up to look while rubbing her hand along her cheek. Pulling her hand back, she screamed.

Without warning, the door flew open and the twins rushed out. Looking around for the danger, they relaxed when they saw the sight of their new roommate, freaking out on the floor. “Edgar, I told you that you should have cleaned off the couch first.” the one with the higher voice stated a little haughtily, crossing his arms and looking in the opposite direction. Since he'd called the other one Edgar, he must have been Allan, but Olivia was too busy frantically wiping away the unfamiliar substance off onto her skirt and the floor. Edgar laughed, a slight screeching tone to it, “You're just embarrassed because it was your cum she landed in.” Allan blushed at the sound of this while Edgar laughed some more.

“Come on, stand up already,” Edgar ordered once his laughing was back under control, “It's not that scary.” Olivia blushed again, this time at her silly actions. “I'm sorry.” she apologized, her legs crossed as she remained on the floor, “I just...wasn't expecting all this...” her eyes widened, feeling something kneel down beside her. “Well, you're just going to have to get used to it, right Allan?” the other boy nodded, his face probably just as red as hers was. “If she really is going to live here...”

Suddenly, Olivia felt her entire head being pushed to the side, her neck popping due to the action. Her eyes jumped to their corners and from them she saw Edgar (considering Allan hadn't moved from his spot), his tongue suddenly darting out and trailing upwards along her cheek, cleaning up whatever cum she'd missed. “So, what is your name anyway?” he questioned, standing back up and heading over to Allan; his arms wrapping around the slightly shorter boy's neck. “I-It's Olivia...Olivia Walltower.” she said, still in a bit of daze from the licking.

Edgar's nose scrunched in disgust, “Olivia?” he questioned. Allan followed suit, seeming to finish his older brother's sentence, “It makes you sound like some kind of rotten vegetable.” Allan brought his hands up, resting them on the hands around his neck. “Don't you have something else that we can call you?”

“Well, my middle name is Ariadne.” Their eyes glazed over and they sighed. “That's pretty so from now on, your name is Ari.” Allan demanded with the nature of spoiled child while Edgar whole-heartedly agreed with him. Olivia shrugged, “I guess its nice to have a nickname...” she trailed off climbing to her feet after a long while. Suddenly, one of the twins scoffed at her in a snooty manner, “Excuse me, did I say it was a nickname? It's your name from now on...isn't that right brother?” Allan questioned, looking up into his brother's identical green eyes, laying a kiss on his lips for the response. Allan stuck his tongue out at her after the kiss was broken.

“Oh...” Olivia murmured, more demure in nature than not and not liking the treatment she was receiving at all, “Well, what are your full names?” she asked, still trying to be friendly. Everyone deserved a benefit of a doubt, and some people just had a hard time opening up to others.

“We are Edgar and Allan Vanderkam...suppose you've heard of us?” Edgar asked her back, his arms still around his younger brother's neck. Had she heard of them? Who hadn't heard of the prestigious Vanderkam family? They were loads richer than some people ever dreamed of being, and didn't mind rubbing it in their faces either. However, this lead her mind to another thought: 'Just what were they doing in a slum like this?'

“Well, it was very nice to meet you, Edgar and Allan.” she nodded, her lip trembling from trying to hold back tears. True it was an idiotic thing to cry over, but it had tweaked her sensitive nerves and feelings.

Tomorrow would be better, she assured herself as she ran off to her room.
