Morning at long last, she rejoiced despite the fact that she had skipped out on a shower. Crawling out of bed noiselessly, she headed over to the suitcase she'd discarded near the door and shifted through it for a clean pair of clothes. Luckily, the first thing her hand came into contact with was a pair of jeans and a plain t-shirt. She presumed the twins already had clean towels in the bathroom.
Reaching for her doorknob in her half sleep daze, Olivia heard the familiar sounds of groaning and moaning. She rolled her eyes and shook her head, wondering if they two ever got any free time from the other. Olivia opened the door only to a slight crack as if to check her surroundings, and what luck, there were the twins leaning upon the kitchen counter...right across from the bathroom. However, this wasn't what Olivia's innocent eyes were transfixed on, but on the two brothers and their...assets, which happened to be standing straight up at the moment, pressing against their pants.
Olivia felt her face turn red as her knees buckled and she crumpled to the ground before the cracked door. Muffling her breathing as much as possible, she found herself unable to look away and curious as to what might happen next. “Come on stop,” Allan begged, his hands resting behind him on the counter as his brother rocked his hips against his own, “Aw, you're so cute when you're begging.” Edgar teased, brushing his knuckles along Allan's face, who in turn seemed to cringe from the touch.
“B-But what if we wake Ari up?” Allan asked sweetly, his zipper getting jerked down faster than the speed of light. Edgar scoffed, running his tongue over his brother's lips in a form of a kiss, “Who cares about her? What's she gonna do?” he asked, causing the still inconspicuous Olivia to feel a bit hurt. She didn't have much time to feel too sorry for herself because the next thing she laid eyes on was...that. And by that, Olivia's virgin mind implied it as the male organ that females clearly don't have. No more that was said by the twins reached her ears at that moment, Olivia's eyes practically glued to the movement of Edgar's hand on his brother...up and down. Olivia flushed once more, finally finding the strength to turn her sight away and lean against the wall.
She found that her breathing was heavy and her legs weak-feeling...as well as another strange feeling between her legs. 'It's really hot in here now...' she remarked, still trying to mask the heavy breathing of her person from the twins. “Edgar, stop!” Olivia's head jerked her head back to them so fast she should have gotten whiplash from the action. 'Is that...?' her mind questioned, something seemed to be leaking from the top of it. Without warning, Allan collapsed and Edgar followed willingly, the grip of his hand releasing. Edgar said nothing, but from the look on Allan's red face, he was planning something. Grabbing his legs at the knees, he forced his brother's legs apart for better access for...something; Olivia wasn't quite sure. Edgar's mouth moved back up the boy's erection, then back down, mimicking the motions that he had shown with his hand earlier. Allan grabbed Edgar's head, lacing his fingers through the familiar brown hair to make sure he didn't pull away too soon. Suddenly he yelled his brother's name, his body locking and then arching as something hit the back of Edgar's throat. The brunette's hands relaxed and fell away, allowing his brother to swallow whatever it was that was dribbling out of his mouth. “It is...” she sighed, gasping loudly when she realized she'd spoken aloud to confirm her suspicions.
“Ari, are you being a dirty pervert over there?” Edgar asked playfully, resuming his full height as Allan sat a little dazed on the floor. Oh well, the jig was up...she might as well come on out. “N-No...” she mumbled, pushing the door all the way open from her position on the floor. Allan's green eyes turned to her, his mouth twisting into a frown at the sight of her as he tried to pull his pants back up. “Whoa, whoa, who said we were done?” Edgar reprimanded, causing Allan to grimace even more as he left the task incomplete and sat motionless.
“Ari, come here, would you?” the older twin asked of her, Olivia coming over regardless, despite her doubts. Without warning, Edgar suddenly jerked her red skirt up, high enough where anyone would have a clear view of her panties. Gasping, she hurriedly knocked away his pale hand and held her skirt closer to her legs. “What's the matter?” Edgar asked nonchalantly, waving his arms around, “I was just trying to check something.” Before Olivia could ask for what, he jerked her skirt up once again and jammed two of his fingers in-between her legs. Blushing furiously, she harshly slapped his hand away and pounced back, resulting in her stockings catching on the carpet and her falling flat on her butt.
“Big brother, what was that for?” Allan asked innocently and a little blank of face as he pulled his zipper back up, his erection disappearing. He managed to stand up to his full height, his breathing a little labored as he awaited his brother's answer. Edgar gave a little smirk and held his two fingers up in Allan's direction, “See? She was being a dirty pervert. She's really wet down there.” the older twin smirked triumphantly, Allan not quite sure how to answer to that. Olivia on the other hand, sat on the ground fuming, “What is your problem?” she asked, tears crowing her eyes.
Edgar looked at her uninterestedly, “What's yours?” he asked haughtily, immediately re-averting his gaze to some random corner of the room. Olivia swallowed deeply, deciding to just let it go and get her shower like she had planned. The twins said nothing to her.
Olivia ruffled her hair, making sure the shampoo covered every inch of her hair, the thoughts of him touching her unable to leave her mind. Sure, she'd kinda brought it upon herself the way she'd been spying on them...but did Edgar really have to go that far? Leaning under the shower head, the warm water quickly washed the soap from her short locks of hair, leaving her body completely clean now. Grabbing a towel, she stepped out of the shower and wrapped it around her petite body, the slightly cold air biting at her skin.
Fading out of reality, her mind drifted off into other worlds, causing her not to notice that Allan had blocked the exit. Crashing into him, she panicked and backed up, calming when she realized that it was him, “Oh...Allan, is something wrong? I'm all done now.” Allan shook his head in a negative fashion, reaching his pale hand up to brush his bangs to the left side of his face, “No, nothings wrong...at least, I don't think. I just wanted to apologize for my brother's behavior, because I think I know what happened.” Olivia nodded as if to encourage him, shivering a little still considering she hadn't dried off yet. Allan sidestepped however, and told her to get dressed quickly. She complied, allowing him passage to her room once she was decent again. Allan locked the door behind him, and took a seat upon the bed without invitation, “Well, you see, Edgar and I just haven't been around girls too much, and we're...”
“You're...?” Olivia trailed off just as he had, expecting him to continue.
“Well, we're a little curious...and nervous...you have to understand that its just been me and my brother for a while now.”
“Allan! Where are you?” Edgar called from their room, interrupting the explanation that Olivia had been waiting on. Allan slightly grimaced, then sighed happily, “Sorry.” he apologized shortly with a wave of his hand. He sprung off of the bed like a spring and ran for the next door room, a smile covering his features. Olivia, on the other hand, continued to sit there, sighing at the coincidence of the situation...something always seemed to be happening. That's it, she decided bravely, a little unlike herself, she was going to get some answers tonight, even if she had to play the part of the unsuspecting victim.
Retrieving the towel she'd tossed to the ground, the dark-haired girl ruffled it around her hair in an attempt to get it dry. When she'd finished, she carefully folded the towel just as the twins had before her, and made a note to return it to the bathroom as soon as possible. However, voices from the room next door stopped her in her journey to the bathroom. Seeing as she was seemingly becoming a professional at spying, her bare feet carefully padded over to the white door.
“Allan, what's the big deal? You can't just trust people like her with our lives!”
“Big brother, I already told you. I don't think Ari's one of them...I bet she's actually really sweet, if we tried to be nice to her.”
“No! No way! We can't be friendly with someone who might be after our lives! It's already bad enough that we told her our last names, but other than that, she really has no other information.”
“But Edgar, why would father send someone like her? She looks so...fragile.”
“Ha, silly butt, that's probably what he's planning! Don't you watch movies like Smokin' Aces or something like that?”
“No...but there was this one girl in my favorite videogame-”
“Look, we're not gonna start talking about Fantasy Finale alright. I know you like it, but I think we need to start being a little more careful with what we do and say. If we're gonna pull this off, we need to keep up this bad front and try to get her to leave.”
“You think that'll work? That we could scare away an assassin just by insulting them?”
A sigh, “No, sweetie, I mean that we should provoke them up until the point where they try to attack us. Then, we call the cops, show them the evidence, get her and that bastard of a father arrested, then we inherit the mansion and live in style like we should be doing now.”
“Well...I guess so...but you have to admit that there is a possibility that she isn't an assassin. It's okay to trust some people, right?”
Another sigh, “Sure, I guess so...but lets keep our defense up for a little while longer, okay?”
“Okay, but first, we're gonna have a little fun...”
Olivia quickly resumed her trip to the bathroom, letting all that she had heard sink into her. Assassins? What in the world could that have been all about? Sure the Vanderkam family was rich and powerful, and their lives were probably at stake...but by their own father? Opening a hamper or closet, Olivia couldn't really decipher between them, she dumped the towel in on top of the others, leaving it to await to be washed. 'That means I'm gonna have to start acting like I don't know anything either. I can't believe they think I want to kill them...although that does explain their behavior, somewhat. Maybe some t.v. will take my mind off of things...' she concluded, although she despised the fact of wasting valuable time (time she could be using to find out about their whole history), she had to do something that seemed normal.
Homework! That was extremely normal...and boring too. Especially since the twins had already finished school, so surely they never desired to see another page of homework in their lives. Returning to her room, she shuffled through the contents of her bag for some unfinished homework, namely her math homework because it was her worst subject. Over Christmas holidays, she'd jammed on all the assignments, managing to get most of them completed. And yet, the dreaded math homework glared out at her from the textbook like a pair of smoldering red eyes.
Frowning a little, she took her business with her to the couch, just in case she really did want to watch t.v. Seriously, t.v. or homework...like that was a hard choice. Nonetheless, she started from the last problem she'd left off on, her index finger being used as a pointer to read the question. Soon, she was flying through it without a problem...at least, that's what she wished could be said about the situation. After about ten minutes, the problem still sat incomplete on the white notebook paper, marred with the discoloration of her eraser over wrong pencil marks. Sighing as she racked her brain for the right procedure, she failed to notice as one of the twins walked past her, coming back in curiosity to see what she was doing.
“The answer's eight,” Edgar supplied, leaning on his arms on the couch, looking at the problem. Olivia jumped slightly, beginning to get used to these sudden appearances, “Oh...” she mumbled, putting the conversation she'd just heard to the back of her mind. Surprisingly, she found the answer to be correct when she put the problem through another procedure, “Thanks.” she said with a smile. Not expecting what happened next, Edgar took up refuge next to the girl, causing Olivia to gulp. She couldn't help but wonder if he'd found out already...let's just play it cool and start apologizing like crazy if the cat came out of the bag.
“Man, you suck at this.” Edgar laughed, pointing out all her mistakes without flaw. Normally, Olivia would have been a little upset, but hey, you couldn't be right all the time. Without warning though, Edgar suddenly jolted upwards with a cringe, taking his time in resuming his seat back on the couch. Olivia's brow went up in wonder, “Okay, look, I didn't really come to help you with your homework,” she could've guessed that though, “I wanted to apologize for what I did earlier, so...I guess I'm sorry.” Before Olivia could say apology accepted, Edgar bolted up again, this time falling forward onto all fours and panting like a dog would. Tossing her books aside, Olivia's instincts took over and she went to his side, “Is something wrong? Are you alright?”
Edgar breathed heavily, trembling and groaning a little bit, “Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Its just...I mean, I'm sorry about what happened.” Another jolt seemed to rush through him like electricity, causing him to sink lower to the floor, “I mean I'm really really sorry! Please forgive me, okay?”
“Apology accepted.” Olivia replied quickly and truthfully, easily managing to catch Edgar's nearly silent mumble, “Allan, you little bastard...” Olivia grabbed a hold of his arm, helping to hoist him back onto his feet. He thanked her, hobbling back to his room while holding a single hand over his butt. What in the world had that been all about?
“Are you sure you're alright?” Olivia asked once more, her face holding genuine concern for him. Edgar stopped and looked back at her, for he what he himself wasn't quite sure, but found his eyes locking with hers. “Y-Yeah, of course I'm fine.” he shot back, turning his back on her and entering his room with a click of the door. Olivia stared at the wooden door for a few more moments, unable to look right away, but soon turned her attention back to her homework.
“Hey Ari!” she jolted at the loud scream, jerking her books and paper all over the place, “You really want to know what's wrong with Edgar? He's got something stuck up his ass...literally! You can come and watch if you want to...!” Olivia blushed, quickly refusing Allan's invitation. 'Gross,' she grimaced inwardly, 'Sex toys...'
“H-Hey!” she yelled back out of the blue, “Are you guys hungry or anything?”
There was a silence on the other side of the door. Olivia knew for a fact that she was starving, and could definitely go for some fast food right now, heck, even ramen would do...especially since it was her favorite. Really, it only seemed fair to ask them considering it was their kitchen and their food. A few minutes passed with no response, leaving her to wonder if they were just ignoring her. She sighed and shrugged, giving up on the twin brothers just about the time they decided to walk out.
“Okay, Ari, it's decided!” Allan pointed a finger in her face, his body positioned by the arm of the couch. Olivia looked taken aback...decided? About what? She chose not to ask questions, considering they were more than likely going to tell her anyway. Edgar gave a small cough, “From now on, you are going to be our maid!”
“And our slave!” Allan piped up after his brother.
“Now wait just a minute-” Olivia tried to fight back but was cut off by the older twin, “No, we're not waiting anymore! WE demand that you cook us something.” Olivia blinked a few times...couldn't they just be humble and accept her offer? Of course not. They'd been spoiled all their lives and were used to getting catered to, so it was probably to be expected. “Well,” she started, sliding off of the couch onto her feet, “I can surely make or get you something, but why do I have to be a slave?”
“Don't question us, slave!” they ordered in unison, causing Olivia to flinch a little from the harshness of their voices. “Or you won't get any supper!” So she was banned from eating her own food then?
“Now, make with the food!” Edgar ordered with a clap of his hands, Olivia frowning. Nonetheless, she rolled her dark eyes and made her way over to the small connecting kitchen, missing the look the twins shared between them. Looking through the cabinets, she couldn't help but catch the small giggles coming from the twins, “Um...the cabinets are bare...” she pointed out, “How can I cook without supplies?” she asked innocently, wondering if they'd hidden all the food from her in an attempt to pull a mean prank.
Allan giggled again, “Of course there's no food, slave. We haven't the faintest idea on how to cook, so naturally we wouldn't have food.” Olivia frowned, where was this lordly air coming from all of sudden? Suddenly, an epiphany struck her, “Oh, I see...” she trailed off under her breath, seeming to catch onto what they were implying, “Masters, does that mean you wish to go out to eat?” she asked sweetly, pulling her imaginary skirt out into a curtsy with a bow of her head, laughing a little on the inside on how stupid this was. The twins pretended to inspect their nails haughtily, shaking their heads to readjust their near perfect hair...they even sighed in unison, “It'll have to suffice, slave.” Olivia looked up, expecting to see them smiling at her, but they were already heading for the door.
Quickly slipping on her shoes, she followed them outside.
As they reached the outside of the apartment building, albeit quietly and inconspicuously as possible, Olivia stretched her limbs in the rays of the bright sun. A slight winter wind brushed past her, making her wish she'd brought along a jacket. “So, where are we going?”
“Do not question us, slave. We shall be leaving shortly.” Edgar answered, his and Allan's back to her. Olivia stuck her tongue out, not very fond of this joke anymore.
Without warning, an icy hand suddenly found itself on the back of her throat, sliding down to her shoulder. Before letting out a shriek, Olivia twisted around with the intent to slap...only the offender caught her hand, “Oh...Olivia...it is you...”
“Bella?” the short-haired girl questioned, the twin's attention being captured by this. Suddenly, the two of them screamed, jumping a few feet in the air before scooting down the sidewalk some. “What is that?!” Edgar questioned with a point of his finger as he and Allan cuddled together in the attempt to save themselves from whatever this new danger was. Olivia followed his finger and found that he was pointing at Bella. “You mean...Bella?” Bella blinked her red eyes in boredom.
“Big brother, she's so scary looking!” Allan remarked, trembling.
“Don't mind them.” Olivia said, wondering what in the world could have been scary about the girl. Bella Donna (her last name) had long, beautiful raven hair and pale skin. Normally dressing in black clothes with strange belts made her stand out among the crowd. The only really off setting features about Bella were her red eyes (made that way by colored contacts) and her always uninterested face. Not much could spark emotion into the usually stoic Bella.
“Slave, don't associate with people like...it...that thing!” Edgar yelled.
“It is not nice to point...” Bella seemed to command more than point out, resulting in Allan sticking out his tongue. Suddenly, Olivia came back to earth and put her spacey-ness to the side, “Oh yeah, what are doing here anyway, Bella?”
“I simply came to remind you about school. You realize they've shortened the holidays now.” Olivia's eyes widened, “Are you serious? Wh-When do we go back?” she questioned frantically, her homework being foremost in her mind. “I believe it is three days time, counting today.” Drat, that only gave her today and two more days. She'd have to jam on all of it to get it done...and asking Edgar to help her right now was obviously out of the question. “Shoot...” Olivia mumbled, “Oh, we're going to go get something to eat...you wanna come?”
“No, no, no, no, no!...”
“Hmm,” Bella managed to be heard over the chorus of 'no' in the background, “Yes, I believe I shall. I haven't seen you for a while now. Who exactly are they.” Bella asked, motioning to them with her eyes. “Their names are Edgar and Allan...they're my new roommates.”
“Congratulations, on moving out then, my dear.” Bella nodded to which Olivia nodded.
“Oh, what is this?” Allan questioned, “We don't have time for this! If she's coming, slave, then you have to walk with her the entire way.” Olivia shrugged, not really minding considering there was no visible vehicle in sight and the fact that they were best friends. Quickly, the younger twin produced a cell phone, “Nevermind, we've changed our plans for tonight. Edgar and I are the only ones coming.” Allan shook his head in a taunting manner before sticking out his tongue, shutting the phone with a click.
As if on cue, a limo pulled around the corner, stopping in front of the two girls. Edgar and Allan climbed inside of it without another word and sped off in some unknown direction. “Slave...may I know the meaning of this nickname.” Bella asked, walking in the same direction the limo had gone in. Olivia sighed, scratching the back of her head, “Well, those two are kinda rich and for some reason, this morning they decided that I was going to be their maid and slave. I'm not really sure why.” Olivia short-handed, not really seeing fit to denounce their entire life story, despite Bella being her best friend.
“I see...Vanderkams, then.” Olivia tensed, hating when Bella pulled her ESP stuff on her...maybe it was just weird intuition though. “Y-Yeah...” Olivia murmured, seeing no point in denying it anymore. “What are they doing here, though, if they are so rich.”
“I'm not sure...I heard them talking about something...something like, assassins were coming after them. I'm not sure about anything else, and even that might be a lie. They can act pretty childish sometimes...” Crap, shut up Olivia, she tried to tell herself. Maybe she needed to get out more and talk to people...the twins were kind of hard not to talk about. “I see...” Bella trailed off once more like she normally did, “It makes since. Do not let them boss you around...something about their demeanor makes me question their true motive.” Olivia didn't even care to ask about that one. Bella had this strange way of predicting things or giving advice, but hardly any of it ever made since until the last moment.
“Here we are.” Where was here? Olivia wondered, looking around. Looking across the street, she caught sight of a very fancy restaurant...the mostly likely place the twins could be found at. “Bella, how did you-”
“I have my moments.” she answered flatly with a blank stare. “Go in if you wish, I have other matters to attend to now.” Then why did you agree to come? wondered Olivia as the dark-haired girl disappeared. Olivia had never really been around this part of downtown...it was a rich place. However, after a few more inspections, Olivia also glimpsed a grocery store nearby.
'Bella, you absolutely amaze me...'
Whoosh, long chapter! By the way, when Bella asks a question and there is no mark, it is intentional, considering when you ask a question, your voice goes up at the end. Bella shows hardly any emotion. Remember, reviews are loved!
