Why you chose me?

Why you insist on choosing me

Again and again, every day.

What do I have to offer

That every other person in existence

Couldn’t give you?

I look at the beautiful women

That walk by you

But you don’t even flinch.

There is a fire in your eyes

And a growl in your voice

For no one else but me.

It makes me happy to know

That I still got what it takes

To keep you wanting me.

It has taken me a while

To realize that,

While I may not be perfect,

I am perfect for you.

I don’t have to worry about

Things other people offer

Or how other people look.
