I walked through the store,

I only wanted some chocolate candy,

instead, a Monster came out from behind.

Ouch It grabbed me,

Its paw ran down my back

or perhaps up my thigh.

I still feel Its claws cut me open,

I guess It won that horrid fight,

a touch so haunting.

Some friends find it funny and some find it sad,

It was the former, It laughed when done.

I want to scream

at school watching boys and girls interact.

I fear the boys approaching me in the hall,

unaware of their intentions.

I cannot recall The Monster’s face, it’s blank,

so I replace it with every face I see.
