Remembered

Am I really over mourning for you?

Are my eyes really tired of shedding?

Has my mind finally forsaken you?

Or do I fear of your face forgetting?

A smile brighter than the summer’s sun

Eyes that hypnotize like the winter’s moon

Kindness as clear as the calm streams that run

A face that can inspire spring to bloom

I wish that my mourning will never end

I wish that my eyes will never tire

Unlike the trees that leaves they tend to shed

You’re in my mind like a vivid fire
