Empathy

When you smile

My world lights up.

When you laugh,

I feel immeasurable joy.

When you are angry,

I am often close behind.

When you cry,

So, too, do I.

When you lose a loved one,

A piece of me dies as well.

We are connected,

And this bond will continue to exist

For the rest of our lives.
