Author's Note: Sorry its been forever, but whateves. Who cares. You all know the story.
After they’d had sex yet again, the two stood in the shower and Seamus bathed Jordan. The entire time he knew that she was a bit uncomfortable, yet every now and then she would give him a tiny smile.
“You seem nervous.”
“I am.”
“Why?” he asked before he kissed her shoulder.
Jordan shrugged. “Mainly because I don’t know you.”
“You should know all about me, being my biggest fan and all.”
She smirked. “Well I don’t actually know you. All I know is that you’re Seamus O’Malley pro skater from Ireland.”
“And all I know is that you’re Jordan a girl from Chicago who turned twenty one yesterday yet I’m comfortable with you.”
“But that’s cause you’re gorgeous.” she whispered as she played with her wet hair. “Plus I’m sure you’re used to this.”
“This?”
“Some fan coming to your room and having all kinds of sex with you. And I know for a fact you’ve had way better looking girls than me.”
Seamus didn’t say anything but he smiled before he pecked her forehead. “I think you’re gorgeous and that should be all that matters.”
“To me it is.” she said before she wrapped her arms around him and began to kiss him.
Seamus pulled away from her for a moment. “What do you usually do in the shower?” He watched her blush. “Besides that.”
“I sing.”
He grabbed her waist and shook her gently before he kissed her forehead. “Sing something for me.”
She laughed and thought for a minute. He gave her an expectant look before she sang.
“His name is Seamus
I have dreams about him
He rings my bell
And makes me sing in the shower
Oh how he rocks
In Vans and tube socks
He doesn’t know who I am
But he really gives
a damn about me"
He grabbed her hand and kissed her throat, shocking Jordan with the affectionate gesture. “You have some amazing pipes on you.” Again she blushed before she shook her head. “Seriously, you have a phenom voice. And that song was great.”
“I stole most of it from that song “Teenage Dirtbag”, by Wheatus.”
“I’m sure its not about me.”
Jordan kissed him. “Well my version is always about you.”
Jordan and Seamus quickly dressed and they were ready they left the hotel. Without hesitating Seamus walked to the curb before holding his hand out in the air.
Yet Jordan grabbed it and pulled it to his side before saying. “Shay, this is Chicago. Its all about public transportation.”
“Lead the way babes.”
So Seamus allowed the pretty girl to drag him a block down and three over before making him walk up what seemed to be a mile of stairs. He waited with her on the platform and every time a train pulled in he asked if it was theres. When he finally gave up and the fifth train had arrived she pulled him on.
As they stood on the overly crowded train, holding the rails as not to fall or bump into others, Seamus asked where they were going.
“Not that you’ve ever heard of it, but its this place called Clarke’s on the north side and they’ve been voted best breakfast in the city.”
Smirking Seamus told her. “They may have the best breakfast in the city, but do you know where to find the best breakfast in the world?”
Jordan stuck out her tongue before she confessed. “Well no, I wouldn’t seeing as how I haven’t been to a lot of countries, but please feel free to enlighten me Mr. O’Malley.”
“Well, its in this little town called Blackrock in Ireland, in a tiny place called the O’Malley family kitchen.”
Jordan giggled before looking away from him. Seamus only smiled at her before gently bumping into her and kissing behind her ear. He whispered. “You’re beautiful, you know that right?”
She shrugged and continued to look away. The train began to slow down and she told him. “This is our stop.”
Jordan grabbed his hand and when the doors opened she pulled him off the train and onto the platform. Seamus only followed her down another katrillion stairs before they emerged on the bustling sidewalk of Belmont. The played the traffic dance trying to get across the street but finally they made it and crossed a side street before Jordan pulled him into the restaurant.
Inside the waitress sat them and as the two looked over the menu Seamus looked at her with a little smile.
Jordan gave him the look back before asking. “What’s your deal?”
Closing his menu and setting it down he admitted. “I just thought about this.” He was silent for a moment, letting the suspense build up before he told her. “You know so much about me, with you being my number one fan and all. Yet I know nothing about me.”
Leaning across the table she whispered. “Well you’re the only guy who knows how to make me come three times.”.
Shaking his hand, yet with a proud grin he told her. “I don’t even know what you do for a nine to five?”
“I don’t know if you’d really want to know.” she told him.
“Try me.” At this moment the waitress returned. She gave them their drinks before quickly taking their orders. Once she walked away Jordan still hadn’t said anything so Seamus looked her in the eyes with a very long. “Soooo….”
Giving him the biggest fakest smile she responded. “I’m a medical examiner assistant.”
“A who-a-what?”
Rolling her eyes she told him. “Right now I’m the assistant to the person who examines dead bodies to find out the cause of death.”
Nodding his head he said. “Oh so you help the coroner.”
“Not a coroner.” Jordan damn near snapped at him. “A coroner just pronounces death. A medical examiner finds the cause of death. Right now I just help. But whenever I finish school, which will probably be like a bajillion years from now, I’ll be a crazy money makin’ ass shakin’ medical examiner myself.”
Only able to nod at this point the told her. “Well good luck with all that. I’m sure you’ll finish sooner than a bajillion years and if you’re as good of a medical examiner as you are with some of the things you did last night, then you’ll be making crazy fat money. So you have another year before you start medical school, right?”
“Actually, I’m finishing up my first year already.” She told him. He gave her a look. “I graduated high school when I was sixteen.”
“Oh my lawd.” Seamus said placing a hand to his forehead. “I dun pulled myself one of dem sma’t gurls.”
Jordan laughed. “So you’ve pulled me, have you?”
“If it’ll make you feel better, you can say you pulled me last night. ‘Cause honestly I thought you were going to bail on me last minute and I really would have been heart broken.”
“Maybe not so much heart broken.”
Seamus shook his head. “No, I really would have been heart broken, sweetie. You have no idea.” He watched her smile. “So, tell me something else about yourself.”
Jordan stroked her chin for a second. “Well next week I’ll be flying to New Zealand to work on a ranch for three weeks.”
“That’s very random.”
“Well no, a few years ago I did this volunteering abroad for food and shelter thing, and I met this nice couple in New Zealand and since I was seventeen I fly out there for three weeks to visit and help out. Plus I love it cause they have horses, sheep and cows, I love cows.”
“Cows?“ She nodded. Seamus took a drink of his water. “Well that’s very selfless of you. It sounds like fun and I can honestly say that I have never been to New Zealand.”
“You should go. It’s a blast.”
“Where else have you been?”
She shrugged. “Just Japan. A friend and I went there our junior year of high school.”
“I actually haven’t been there either.” he admitted.
“Shame on you.”
The two heard 311’s “Love Song” play and Jordan apologized before pulling out her cell phone. “Its my best friend. I told her I would call and let her know that you didn’t try anything funny.” Seamus only gestured for her to answer it. Flipping it open Jordan answered. “Moshi moshi.”
“Hey, so how did everything go?” Matilda asked.
“Great.” she told her with a giggle. “We’re actually at Clarke’s right now having breakfast.”
Matilda only smiled before giving Erin the thumbs up letting her know that Jordan had gotten ass. “So how was it.”
“Dude, he’s totally sitting right across from me.” Jordan tried to whisper.
Seamus looked at Jordan and whispered. “Go ahead and give your friend all the juicey details. I want to know exactly what you thought of me. Every single inch.”
“So, you got his permission. How was it? Did he do it for you?”
With a giggle Jordan told her. “Three times.”
“Nice.”
When Jordan and Seamus’ food arrived Jordan quickly ended the call. Her and Seamus talked and got to know one another a little better over their food.
After eating Seamus offered to go shopping with Jordan. She shrugged her shoulders and he told her that he would pay, which he thought would make her more quick to agree, yet she still didn’t seem that into it.
“Come on beautiful, I’ll buy you something just as pretty as you are.”
With a blush Jordan looked away from him and whispered. “Where am I going to where this article of clothing that’s suppose to be so beautiful.”
With a shrug Seamus told her. “I don’t know.” he thought for a moment and grabbed her hand before telling her. “I’ll take you somewhere worthy of it and your beauty.”
Jordan pulled her hand out of his before she took a few steps away from him. “Look, I’m alright with the whole one night stand thing and I really appreciate you trying to be nice to me, but don’t lead me to believe that there is more to it.”
Shaking his head and grabbing her hand again he stroked the side of her face. “Come on, we’ll go shopping. Can we at least do that?”
“Sure.”
