As my friends talk I drift away

Thinking about you again, like I have all day

What is he trying to say? What does he mean?

His words so sweet, but his actions so unclear

He says we’re friends, and I know we are

But my heart wants so much more

When we talk I forget everything

He opens up to me and tells me his secrets

My heart shines because he can confide in me

He desperately tries to get me to open my heart

Tell him my fears

He wants to see my scars

He understands why I’m so hesitant

I’m so afraid that he might leave

He promises to never hurt me like that

As my eyes water he holds my hand

When I tell one hurtful memory

He smiles and understands

I come to see he hasn’t walked away

He still here, sitting beside me

His fingers entwined with mine

I think there is love
