A/N: Hey, people. Anyone that hasn't heard about the events that has gone on...a Korean-American by the name of Cho Seung-Hui went on a killing spree April 16, 2007 at Virginia Tech University. What I am about to write is something based on the killings, but the reason I am writing this is because I was thinking: what if there had been someone who could have stopped this mayhem? So read.
At Bandiri State University in New York, one of the biggest tragedies that ever happened in the United States took place. A student there by the name of Josef Van Hundt had out of the blue shot and killed 17 people, including the dean himself and the staff of the financial aid office. Now he had barricaded himself in the Kano Hall dorms, armed with two shotguns- a Mossberg Maverick and a Street Sweeper, two revolvers, a Beretta 93R and God knows how much ammunition. Earlier Van Hundt had entered a firefight with police officers and wounded three officers. Another college student by the name of Gora Liant was looking on the events. She did not want to watch this anymore. She felt the helplessness and rage burning inside of her until the sky turned dark and her aura became a black dragon and engulfed her in black flames, then scattered to the four winds. When the flames cleared, Gora was shown in all black, covered in a black robe and holding a large scythe.
"Wow!" said Gora. "I didn't know being pissed could do this.”
Gora's aura surrounded her feet and she was launched into the air.
"Whoo-hoo! Yeah!"
Gora took flight past the cop cars and and to the door of Kano Hall. One swing of her scythe exploded the doors into splinters and destroyed the chains. Van Hundt heard a crash and came out into the hall, where he saw an intimidating sight. Then the black robed figure spoke.
"So, you're the guy who thinks he's hot shit," said Gora in as best a deep voice as she could summon. "You're a killer, huh?"
Van Hundt loaded, cocked, and fired his Mossberg. The buckshot did nothing. Shotgun goes off again. Still nothing.
"Who are you?" Van Hundt asked.
"You brought this upon yourself, Josef Van Hundt! And now, justice will be served," said Gora. "So prepare yourself."
Van Hundt picked up his Street Sweeper, quickly fired and ran up the steps to the next floor. The Dragon Reeper slowly followed, unaffected. Van Hundt kicked in a dorm door and was ready to open fire on the occupant, a small female when the Gora’s robe with a will of its own covered the woman and the bullets were absorbed.
"S-s-s-stay away from me!"
The wind from Gora's scythe slash sent Josef through the wall and onto the hood of a police car, where cops were waiting for him with guns drawn. Gora, from underneath the robe of the Dragon Reeper, looked from in the dorm room as the cops arrested Van Hundt.
Later that night, there was a candlelight vigil held for the 17 people that lost their lives at Bandiri State. Gora was there, along with news cameras as the vigil took place. Gora watched the tribute as tears began to roll down the faces of the victims' classmates and friends. Tears began to fall down her face as she turned and headed to her car, unaware of the destiny that lies ahead.
