Everyone is there

Everyone in the world

All waiting and rushing

To make the train

Everyday is the same

Go to the station

Catch your train

Then keep on living

Just like any other day

But, today, I missed my train

And it is moving too fast

I am too slow

So I become one with the past

I sit there and sigh

As everyone goes away

The tears fall as I cry

For I’m dead today

One day disappears

On after another

I’m left scared and confused

Like a young child abandoned by their mother

Lost and forgotten

I begin to drift towards the night

Only a caring hand in the dark

Could now save my life
