Sarina sighed as she laid in her bed awake. She looked over at the clock.
Gah . . . almost 6:50 am . . . almost school time she thought miserably. She smiled at the thought of hanging with her friends. She sighed as she crawled out of bed. She walked to her bathroom and stared at herself in the mirror.
A girl with thick, brown curly hair stared back at Sarina. She had hazel green eyes and her cheeks were slightly red. She sighed again as she stared at herself in the mirror for a little while longer. She felt so lonely and she had no one. Depression over took her. She brushed her teeth and put her hair up in a bun. Sarina went back to her room and stared up at the closet.
What to wear. Sarina’s closet was filled with different colors but mostly black. She wasn’t sure if it was going to be cold or warm. The weather was confusing. It’s like cold one day but then warm the next.
Sarina took out a black skirt that came up to mid-thigh and a black shirt with a sexy blue fairy on it. She took off her pajamas and stared into her mirror that was in her room. She almost has a six pack but not quite. She wore a pink push bra and polka dotted underwear. She grabbed her skirt and slipped it on. Then she pulled her shirt over her head. She sighed as she headed down to the living room.
Her mom was laying down on the couch. She was wearing a grey sweatshirt with blue sweats. Sarina walked over to her pink backpack and opened it up to put her lunch in it. A plastic bag was resting right next to it. She grabbed the bad and shoved it into her backpack.
“Mom” she said while looking over at the couch. “Are you ready?” Sarina watched as her mom sat up. Her mom nodded as she stood up. Sarina grabbed her backpack, camo purse, and her water bottle. She put on some flip flops then opened the door.
It was sunny out, but really cold. Sarina grabbed her black sweatshirt and left the house.
Sarina sighed as she got out of the car. Her mom yawned as she handed Sarina her purse.
“Merci” Sarina said. She grabbed her purse from her mom then closed the car door. She started walking toward the school. The wind was hitting her face. She took a deep breath as she walked closer to the school.
It was the last place she wanted to be. She looked up at the sky then at her feet. Mix feelings and thoughts went through her head. She hated who she was. Sarina felt like the worst person in the world. She felt like she was boring to be with, depressed, and could only be a friend. That’s all she could ever be.
She hated herself. Sarina couldn’t figure anything out. All the guys she likes don’t like her the same way. The guys that are ass holes she always ends up with. She felt she didn’t deserve happiness. She felt so lonely and cold hearted. Her friends told her she was the sweetest person they met, but being sweet doesn’t seem to get the sweet guys. It’s always the bitchy ones she gets.
Sarina walked down the hallway. The doors were open and wind was blowing into her face. She sighed as she faced her locker. She turned the knob and opened it. It clicked as she opened her locker door.
“Sarina!” someone somewhat shouted from down the hall. She turned to see who it was. It was her friend Janice. Janice had straight brown hair. She wore round glasses but sometimes she had contacts on.
Janice gave Sarina a hug as she approached her. Janice smiled as she looked at Sarina’s locker. She watched as Sarina put her purse into her locker then watched as Sarina pulled out her math binder. Sarina had math first period and hated it. She didn’t mind math all that much but it was her teacher that drove her crazy.
She had a teacher name Mrs. Coddy. She was crazy and very moody. She would yell at the class telling them they were failures and would never get into collage. She also shouts how we should be writing to the white house telling them to not use race but by their names.
“Hi” Sarina greeted her cheerfully. She smiled as she shut her locker. She grabbed her backpack and threw it over her shoulder.
“Hi. How are you?” Janice asked. Sarina looked at the ground then straight ahead as she walked toward the end of the hall. It was very windy and cold. She put her stuff down then went to shut the hallway door. The door was mostly glass and usually unlocked but most people were too lazy to open the door. So they just go around to the other side which was always open.
“I’m doing . . . ” she paused for second and looked down the hallway. She saw a whole bunch of people standing in a circle shouting fight. She rolled her eyes as she looked back at Janice. “I’m doing great!” Sarina lied of course. But she was good at it. She would pretend everything is fine that there’s nothing going on but she doesn’t tell everybody that. Sarina was just a depressed person in general. “How are you?” Sarina asked her.
“I’m okay. Just tired” Janice replied. She smiled as she put her headphones on. Janice looked at her ipod then back at Sarina. Sarina sighed as she looked up at the door. A guy with dirty blonde hair, wore glasses, and a hat came through the door.
“John!” Sarina shouted while jumping up. He laughed as he put down his backpack. “Where’s Amy?” she asked him. He shrugged as he looked over his shoulder. Sarina sighed again as she looked back at the door.
Jake was on her mind. She tried so hard not to like him. He was her best friend after all. Besides, Jake would never go for her. She always think negative about herself.
“Amy!” John shouted. Sarina looked up and smiled as she saw Amy walk to her locker. She jumped and gave Amy a hug.
“Hello my sexy lover!” she half yelled. Amy and Sarina giggled as John laughed. Sarina smiled as she sat. She looked up at everyone then down at her feet. Amy came and sat next to her. She sighed as she rested her head against Amy.
Sarina couldn’t stop thinking about Jake. What was wrong with her? He is her best friend. She shouldn’t like him. He’s off limits and besides, he would never go for her. She lifted her head up as the bell rang. Amy got up and grabbed her bag. Sarina did the same.
“Bye luv” Sarina said as she grabbed her bag. Amy smiled and gave Sarina a hug then left. Sarina started walking up to class when she felt someone touch her shoulder. She turned around and saw her friend Stacy.
Stacy was one of her friends that she met a year before. They weren’t good friends until they got a class together. They have math class together and sat right next to each other. Another friend was also in their math class. His name is Norbert. He never pay attention in math, or if he does, it’s rare.
“Ready for math?!” Stacy said acting like she was excited. Sarina laughed and shook her head.
“No. I wonder if we’ll get lectured today. Our math teacher is loony” she said while chuckling. Stacy smirked as they turned a corner. Sarina smiled as she saw one of her friends standing at the end of the hall. He had black hair, some facial hair and always wore black.
“Hi” Sarina greeted him cheerfully. Sarina beamed at him. His name is Kevin. Sarina really like Kevin as well but he was taken.
“Hey” Kevin greeted her back. He poked her in the stomach then looked away. Sarina looked the other way looking for Norbert. There was no sign of him so she turned her attention back to him.
“We need to hang out!” Sarina half shouted. Kevin smiled as he nodded in agreement.
“Get to class” he said while smiling. Sarina laughed as she shook her head.
“Why don’t you get to class?” she suggested back to him. He laughed as he tried to push her toward her classroom.
“I’m already in class” he played as he laughed at Sarina. Sarina was very gullible and pretty much believe anything someone would tell her. Well, not everything. But almost everything.
“No. You’re right next door to my class. We’re in the hallway” she told him. He laughed at her.
“I transferred out of first period” he told me. Sarina stared at him then looked at the ground.
“Really?” she asked him. She looked back at him while she rested against the wall.
“Really” he said. Sarina stared at him and frowned slightly.
“So you transferred out of math totally?” she questioned. Kevin started laughing while looking down the hall.
“You’re very gullible” Kevin said while laughing. Sarina blushed as she glared at him. She was giggling but was trying to keep a straight face so she could glare at him. “Get to class” he said as he calm down. Sarina sighed as she smiled at him while walking toward the classroom door.
She opened it and walked into the classroom. The classroom was some what stuffy and smelled like coffee. The room was really bright from the sunshine. She walked toward the back to take her sit. Stacy sat in front of Sarina and Norbert sat two rows over. The five minute bell rang as more students walked into the classroom.
Stacy turned around as she played with her cell phone. She smiled as she stared playing with Sarina’s curly hair.
“Your hair is so pretty” she complimented. Sarina smiled as she blushed a little.
“Thank you. So anything new?” she asked her. Stacy shrugged as she pulled the curlies and let go. She watched as the curl bonged like a pig’s tail. She chuckled a little as she continued. “Could you please stop? You’ll frizz out my hair.”
“Sorry. It’s just your hair is so pretty and curly” Stacy said. Sarina smiled as she nodded thanks. The last bell rang and the teacher cleared her throat.
Sarina stared out the window as she thought to herself.
I hate this feeling of loneliness. I’m over my ex boyfriend. I want to move on but I can’t seem to move on because there’s no one I can move too. Jake is my best friend. But I like him so much. He’s off limits because that would destroy our friendship and I value our friendship more than anything else.
Kevin is cute and fun to be with but he has a girlfriend. And I want him to be happy. He’s sweet and a good person. At least to me anyway. He’s one of the few people who make me feel I’m wanted and that he cares about me. I care about him as well. I care about him so much but he has a girlfriend. I don’t want to come in between so I can’t do anything.
And the other guy I like is a senior. He’s graduating soon. There’s no point flirting. He would be in college and I’m going to be a senior in High school. It doesn’t matter. We would’ve broken up on last day of school if we did get together. That’s not worth it. If I get attached, my heart would break a little. And I don’t want that. I rather want him to find a girl to be happy with that he could see every day and hang out with.
“Sarina” someone said. Sarina looked up at the teacher. “Are you okay?” Sarina nodded as she looked down at her notes she was taking while she was thinking of something else. The teacher sighed as she walked away. She looked around to see what everyone was doing.
“What are we doing?” Sarina asked the people around her.
“We’re starting our homework” Anna responded. Sarina sighed as she got out a piece of paper to start her homework.
A/N
I'm tired so I just used the grammer check thing. So now there's three guys Sarina likes but can't have any of them. Like I said, this is based on my emotions but fiction events. I might add more to A/N tomorrow when I don't have homework and I got sleep. Night!
