Not bars, but Obligation keeps me here

In this home I call a Cage

Evermore to tarry here

In my sultry, smoldering rage

To watch the others wander free

No responsibility

As I sit here silently

In this home I call a Cage

As I sit here in my waiting

For something that won’t come again

So I sit here in my Waiting

The tears coming uncalled

Falling to the forged grating

Useless, no effect at all

So my crying grows

And my thoughts turn against me

I begin to fall very slowly

Because I’ve given up

I’ve lost to the Dark

I’ve lost to this Cage

My Misery

I’ve lost to this damn Cage

My Misery
