The lights in the library turned off and the only woman left in the library closed the door and locked it for over night. But in the back of the library in a crack in the door showed something glowing. Then it got brighter and brighter till it finally stopped and faded.

“TAKASHI!!” yelled a girl named Pearl Xana clenching her hands into fist.

Ami Morgan her best friend and cousin of the one called 'Takashi' sighed. 'She's going to kill him one of these days I just know it.' she thought. Pearl Xana was tall for a 15 year old girl but short compared to the boy standing in front of her.

“Tai you know...” she started but then decided not to say anything. Tai Takashi was one of the hottest boys in school. On top of that he was a part time model for a teen pop magazine which was the top magazine sold in their town.

“What do I know?” asked Tai raising an eyebrow. Now that had set Pearl off, but this young lady barely ever got mad; but when it came to him she couldn't help it.

“You send me a love letter and you don't even admit it?! Yours such a...such a...whats the word I'm lookin for again?” she said first to him then to herself.

“Could it be oh I don't know? Jerk?” asked Tai.

“Hmmm...not the word I was lookin for but it'll do.” said Pearl.

“How come every time you two fight it ends up turning into a conversation?” asked Ami.

Tai and Pearl looked at each other then she remembered what she was yelling about. Tai on the the other hand didn't have a clue on what she was talking about.

“Why did you send me a love letter when I have told you millions of times that I'm not in love with you!” yelled Pearl. “What makes you think that I would be in love with you?” asked Tai. They glared at each other then a familiar face came from behind Ami.

“So whats goin on?” he asked.

Ami jumped and then turned around to see her biggest crush in the world. “Raiden...hi well another love letter fight nothin' much.” said Ami.

“Love letter? Oh you mean the letter that states 'I can't begin to express my feelings for you?' “ asked Raiden.

Ami nodded and Raiden smiled, Ami knew that smile Raiden's twin brother Daniel had told her when he smiled like that he had done something and she knew exactly what.

“Ya exac, wait I didn't show you the letter.” said Pearl.

Tai's eyes narrowed and he turned his head to Raiden who's smile grew even larger if And for Raiden's looks made him look even better. Dirty blonde hair and green eyes. Lets not forget very tall and lean. Ami looked at Tai and thought,

' And in 3...2...1...0'

“You sent her a love letter again?!” yelled Tai.

Raiden smiled and Pearl groaned how many times did she have to deal with these two idiots before they got the message to leave her alone?

“So he sent the letter?” asked Pearl.

Raiden only smiled and said,

“Maybe I did and maybe I didn't.”

“How about Pearl and I go over here and you two can go to where ever you have to go.” said Ami.

Tai ran a hand threw his gelled hair which was only something he did when he was frustrated. Raiden smile faded and then pulled the muttering Tai away from the two girls.

“Oh good day sir.” said a librarian.

A teenage boy with dark brown hair and dark blueish green eyes that were covered with glasses walked in and sat down at a computer.

“Uh...” whispered the librarian with her mouth wide open.

He looked at her from the corner of his eyes and then looked back at the computer. He started typing away and then heard a slam in the back of the room. The librarian heard it too and stood up from her desk and walked to the back of the room.

“I can't believe that friend of his!” yelled Pearl walking down the street. Ami sighed Raiden had always been a bit goofy but sending love letters to her was bad and the reasons,

Tai was her cousin and he was the head of the family.

Pearl was her best friend and she hated I mean she really hated having to get Pearl calmed down it was to stressing.

“You know Pearl... their just trying to get under your skin.” said Ami which got her a glare from Pearl who was walking in front of her down the street her long auburn hair flowing behind her.

'And its working.' Ami thought.

“I just don't know why he didn't say it was Raiden, its not like I'll kick his ass.” said Pearl stopping at a drink stand in the street.

Ami sighed, another reason that she hated doing this is because she thinks that Pearl and Tai are in love with each other but won't amit it.

“Pearl if your talking about Tai then you couldn't beat him even if you wanted to. And if your talking about Raiden then go a head just don't hit his face.” said Ami waving her hand.

Pearl turned to her and then her eyes widened as she saw who was behind Ami. In fact Pearl even dropped her drink on the ground. Ami blinked confused at Pearls actions.

“What?” she asked in a confused tone.

Pearl pointed to the person behind Ami and said, “Raiden.” Ami froze then thought, 'Oh god i hope not.' She turned around and saw Raiden but he was different some how not just the clothes the hair and eyes though Ami could barely tell.

“Daniel right?” asked Ami.

The teen standing behind Ami nodded and took his drink as the clerk held it out. Pearl blinked how could Ami even tell?

“Ya' know Xana for being one of the smartest girls in class you sure are slow sometimes.” said Daniel.

“Gee' thanks..” said Pearl.

Ami smiled then remembered, “Hey Daniel can you talk to Raiden for us?” she asked. That got Daniel to look down at Ami. Pearl knew something that Ami didn't. Daniel has had a crush on Ami for about 2 years now.

“Depends on what it is.” said Daniel after taking a sip of his drink.

“Can you tell him not to send anymore letters to Pearl saying its Tai, because today she was about ready to kill him.” said Ami smiling.

“Its not something to smile about!!” yelled Pearl turning red at what Ami was smiling about.

“Another lovers qural?” asked Daniel.

Pearl turned to Daniel and yelled, “ITS NOT A LOVERS QURAL EITHER!!” which caused people to look at her and that made her blush bright red.

Daniel smiled and nodded. Pearl sighed why was everyone picking on her today?

“Thank you Daniel I owe you.” said Pearl.

“You owe mean more than one.” said Daniel turning around to walk away.

Pearl could only watch as he walked away. He was a lot more nicer than his twin brother Raiden that was for sure.

“Hey don't we have a report to do?” asked Ami to Pearl.

Pearl blinked wasn't it in social studies? Or was it advance history? She couldn't remember but she knew someone who would.

“lets go find Michael he'll know if we do or don't.” said Pearl walking twords the library. Ami nodded in agreement.

“But how do we know that he's even at the library?” asked Ami looking at Pearl.

“Where else would he- We have to meet up with Micheal at the library remember?” said another voice cutting her off. And the voice was very familiar in fact it made her blood boil.

“Takashi what are you doing?” asked Pearl keeping her voice calm.

Tai turned his head to her and smirked. Raiden walked faster in case Pearl decided to hit him or something. Ami decided to run ahead of them that way she could get away from the augment that was soon coming.

“Going to the library Xana why do you ask?” asked Tai.

Pearl glared at his smirk wishing she could ripe it off his face. But she didn't she would she keep her cool around him she had to.

“Because I'm going too.” she said.

Raiden stopped walking and then dazed over to Tai and Pearl who blinked to see him smiling that smile again.

'Oh no.' they thought.

“Then how about we go together? Come on it'll be fun!” said Raiden.

“How abo-” Raiden grabbed Tai right hand with his left and Pearls left hand with his right, then pulled them off to the library.
