Star Tower

Chapter 4

Pearl looked at Kage then to Tai who seemed to have changed in someway it was creepy.

"Why did you call Takashi, Dran? That's not his name.." she said.

Kage and 'Tai' looked at Pearl and then 'Tai' looked to Kage, "What is it you want Kage?" he asked. His voice had changed as well. Kage only smiled.

"Wait a second who's Dran and what the heck are we doing here you said you explain that to us!" yelled Pearl causing 'Tai' to look at her again.

"I'm a spirit that comes from the Star Towers, there are 6 more spirits like you including the one in your necklace. " he said.

"Spirit?...then that means your a g-gh-gho-ghost?" asked Pearl stammering at the word Ghost.

"Yes in a way but I'm not exactly dead...I just don't feel like using my body right now so I used this humans." said 'Tai'.

Kage shook his head, he seemed to be used to this but he still seemed a bit out of it for some reason was it the shock of Tai and Pearl being here or something else.

"Look we don't have much time so I'll make it brief." he said finally. "Then I'll leave, I expect that you can explain whats going on while I'm gone?" asked 'Tai'.

Kage nodded and Pearl was having a melt down major, what kind of person would take someone elses body and not be a ghost and control that body this place gave a whole new meaning to the word strange. Tai's eyes changed back and he looked around in confusion.

"What happened?" he asked, he wasn't sure but he thought he missed something.

"Nothing, now how should I start this?" asked Kage.

"From the beginning." said Pearl finally saying something rather then having a melt down.

"Okay...let see...your inside a world known as, Star Tower. The only way to get here is from the book Star Tower, you were summoned here by the gods for one reason. To save this world and yours before it disappears." said Kage.

Tai and Pearl blinked looked at each other then back to Kage and blinked again as he continued.

" Your each given a special power that will help you along the way and those powers have there own guardian's like Dran." He stated.

'So he's a guardian...then that means I have one too...' thought Pearl.

"Who's Dran?" asked Tai causing Pearl to groan and said, "I'll fill you in later." then Kage started up a story.

"Before I start you should really change into something dry before you catch a cold." he said.

That caused Tai and Pearl to almost fall out of their chairs and hit their heads on the table. Pearl glared and Tai sighed, he was getting really tired for some reason. Kage stood up and then motioned for Tai and Pearl to follow him and they did.

Daniel and Ami smiled at the pissed off Raiden who was glaring at the back of their heads.

"Sorry but you looked so funny hanging up in those vines." said Daniel, Ami nodded agreeing with her.

"Your my twin Daniel your suppose to help me when I need it." said Raiden.

"Don't you even dare bring that up, its not like I don't do enough for you as it is. " said Daniel smiling. (Trust me I know what its like to have a twin and I hate it. Twin: Jessica...--XX)

Ami smiled but shook her head, they had gotten Raiden down from the tree vines and started to look for a way out of the forest but they hadn't even found a path yet. Raiden and Daniel had been fighting for about the whole time.

"So find a path yet?" asked Raiden.

"Quiet." said Ami and Daniel.

DREAM

"Hey Michael have you ever heard the story of the star keepers?" asked a man but Michael couldn't see his face.

"You mean the one where there are 7 special people come together no matter how different they are and release the power of the powers so that the great evil can be sealed up?" asked a 7 year old boy.

"Yes that one, it seems you have heard of it." said the man. "Of course you used to tell me that story every night before bed remember dad?" asked Michael.

"Oh I did didn't I? Well I guess your too old to hear about what happens after all 7 towers are unsealed." said Michael's father.

"No I'm not!" yelled Michael. "Okay then...what happens afterwards is..." started his father then the voice faded away and another voice was replaced with it.

END OF DREAM

"And just how are we going to get out of the city when that blasted man is looking for him?!" yelled a rough deep voice.

"Will you calm down Orin I know it seems like it might be along shot but, if Lady Rikusays that she can get us and the boy out of here with out getting noticed you should be able to trust her by now." said a soft female voice.

"But- No buts if you wake him up I'm sure Lady Riku will be quite upset." said the woman cutting the man called Orin off.

"But how are we going to get the both of them back to Kage's house and the to the star tower with out anyone noticing?" asked Orin.

That made Michael snap his eyes open and then when his vision cleared he saw the woman and a man who he guessed was Orin from the corner of his eyes.

"See what you did?" asked the woman noticing Michael was awake.

Orin turned to Michael who blinked this man must have been a slave keeper in another life for his face to be that mean. Orin blinked as the woman started to laugh.

"Tifa whats so funny?" asked Orin. "Oh nothing." said Tifa smiling at Orin.

"So boy whats your name?" asked Orin. "Michael, who's Riku?" asked Michael sitting up slowly.

When he did he noticed a bandage wrapped around his shoulder and waist. He wondered what happened then remembered that he had gotten into a fight with a gang then...nothing. He noticed Tifa smile and look to the door which opened when she looked at it. The girl from before came in this time she wasn't wearing the cloak and she was beautiful.

She had long auburn hair and deep Violet eyes that seemed like she was missing something, but Michael couldn't place what it was. She was wearing a simple cotton brown dress and a white cloth tied around her waist. She had a sword on her back that had a simple star for the hilt.

"That's Riku." said Tifa smiling at Michael.

Pearl looked at herself in the mirror she looked like a different person in the clothes Kage had given her. She actully liked the colors of the outfit. Dark blue and light blue.

"You look beautiful Pearl." said Kage coming in then pulled an embarrassed Tai in. Pearl blushed and then turned away. The clothes Tai had on made him look dashing. (Couldn't think of any other word) Tai blinked then started to yawn.

"That's the 9th time you've yawned are you sure your okay?" asked Kage. "Just sleepy." said Tai.

Kage shook his head and then looked out the window and his eyes narrowed. He sensed something though it was faint he could sense fire and wind magic awaking but it was weak.

"So shall we get something to eat while we wait for my daughter to return?' asked Kage smiling at the two teens who's stomach growled at the word of food.

"I'll take that as a yes." said Kage led them to the dining hall.

Raiden and Daniel both fell down at the same time as they watched Ami jump down from a tree. How could she do that? Surely she must have been tired like they were

"Ami are you even tired yet?" asked Raiden who looked like he was going to die.

Daniel looked a bit flushed but was fine. About an hour ago he started to feel light headed but it soon disappeared when they had stopped near a lake.

"Daniel are you okay?" asked Ami noticing he was a bit pale in the face.

"Oh nothing just a bit tired maybe we should stop for a while." said Daniel.

"Oh okay I guess that's fine." said Ami.

Raiden's mouth fell open then he muttered something and ran a hand threw his hair.

Michael blinked she wasn't cute she wasn't pretty she was beautiful. He felt his face grow warm and looked away. Riku walked over to him and said something to Orin in the language that he still couldn't understand.

"I see." she said looking to Michael and then added. "Michael...such a strange name."

"Then your names normal?" asked Michael without thinking.

Orin glared at Michael and Tefacovered her mouth to keep from laughing. Riku just looked at him surprised then smiled slightly.

"I like him." she said to Tifa. "Now...you need a bath you landed in garbage and to be honest your starting to smell." she said to Michael.

'Gee don't I feel loved.' he thought and then sighed.

He was starting to think maybe it would have been better if he had just stayed asleep.
