i hate women
who paint their nails black
and say sorry when they speak their minds

during late-night showings of
'60s films

or walking home at 3pm
and shunning
knee-socked schoolgirls
across the street

and i hate radicals
who spew tasteless social commentary
through bad teeth

with bug eyes
and contact lenses

because i don't understand
a lot of things i should
and i am really tired of competition
