Darkness is simply the absence of knowledge and reason
Knowing that, one can only conclude darkness is the equivalent of fear
And so it begins. This tale, the tale of one who has it all, and yet having everything only leaves more to be lost. Everything can so easily become naught. And so, darkness can conquer even the most light and luminous of places. And those who dwell in such places are so much more easily corrupted. Corrupted by darkness. But what is darkness, but the absence of light? And so, without light, there is no dark. And similarly (though I confess, not the same) without darkness, there is no light. And so, my anecdote begins, in a home to which Darkness, Fate, and Death have never called, though that is all too soon to change.
