The wind sings through the air

Like a laughing child,

Jumping into fallen extentions

Of Mother Nature.

A giant lightbulb flickers through

Earth's fingers,

Gesturing

To life that another day has

Come and gone.

The grass is no longer warm,

It's been abandoned by the sun.
