Soundtracks

So, a while ago, I was listening to one of my soundtracks and I just started to write. This bunch of drabbles/oneshots/whatevers, like Simple Seductions, this is centered around Asho.

None of the songs belong to me.

Enjoy!

Oklahoma

“He was sweet, good conversationalist, not too weird,” she said with a shrug, “And he was a nice guy. Paid for my dinner.”

“And you slept with him,” Asho’s jaw dropped. “It was your second date!”

“Well, he invited me back to his place for coffee…Things kind of progressed from there…It wasn’t that bad!”

He laughed, his voice lifting in song. “Oh, she’s just a girl who can’t say no—”

She blushed, elbowing him in the side. “You and your show tunes…”

Jekyll & Hyde: Resurrection

Clawed fingers closed around my throat, tugging me back against a solid chest. That strong but gentle hand tilted my head to the side, the thumb brushing over thos spot on my neck where my pulse fluttered.

The scent of nature—fresh fallen leaves and pine needles—and Axe filled my nose. I tilted my head back further, looking back into chocolate brown eyes and the words slipped out of my lips before I could stop them.

“At the touch of your hand, at the sound of your voice, at the moment your eyes meet mine…”

That low rumbling voice—the bass tone that had always sent heat spiraling south of my belly button—finished the lyric as lips pressed against my neck. “I am out of my mind, I am out of control, full of feelings I can define.”

His name flew from my lips on the wings of a moan.

“You play a ‘Dangerous Game’, love.”

“I know,” a smile touched my lips as I bit back a moan, his talented teeth tugging on one of the rings in my ear. “But I’ll keep playing until I lose, Ulric.”

Sweeney Todd

It was one of those rare days when Ash was in a foul mood. He slammed his books on the café table and growled out his order when the waiter came over.

“Sugar, what’s wrong,” Desiree leaned forward with a warm smile to touch his arm gently. “Did the wolf say something stupid again?”

He scowled, giving a noncommittal grunt as a hand reached up to tug on one of the rings in his ear. Desiree noticed the self-calming habit and decided to continue.

“Was it one of your teachers?”

No response, just another tug.

“C’mon Ashy…Tell me what’s wrong.”

His eyes narrowed in a glare at the tabletop. “There’s a whole in the world like a great black pit that is filled with people, who are filled with shit. And the vermin of the world inhabit it.” His head snapped up, a strand of neon green hair drifting forward to the center of his forehead. The pierced man sent a scathing glare at the world around him.

“Well,” Desi sighed, “just don’t open a barber’s shop and we’ll be fine.”

And if you guys have any songs you think I could use, tell me! I'm always looking for more!
