Home is where the heart is

Home is where the heart is

Then where is mine, I wonder?

Is it here with my friends and family?

Or somewhere else, far yonder?

Why do I feel so empty?

Like I’m standing on shaky ground?

Why does life feel so pointless?

Like I’m listening without sound?

I’m tired of this darkness

Please, just shed some light

For when I find home, I’ll be released

From this endless night

If home is where the heart is

Why haven’t I found mine?

Perhaps there is no place for me,

Or maybe I’m just blind.
