There before our eyes lies the fibrous sticks of grass, beautiful and green and long and gracious under our feet as they sway in tune to the gentle wind, flowing and shaking and trembling as each current of air passes through each individual blade; these pieces of grass never completely yield to the oncoming breeze, but instead bend with a flexibility unheard of by any common man, a modern day Gumby to the fullest extent; it is this natural bounce that causes the squishy cushion beneath our toes as we wiggle and play in the dirt that supports the grass.
