Well, here’s my collection of poems about the certain someone. I think you know what I’m talking about. The guy or girl who never pays attention when you want them too, and maybe you should give up hope on them, but there’s something that makes you want to hang on. This poem and all the poems following are going to be my thoughts on what’s going on with that guy in my life. They might change from happy to depressing drastically so I warn you, be careful.
Some people might call this more of a journal in poetry form, but someday, when I finally figure this out and move on past is obsession with him, I want to give him a packet, of all the poems and stories I had ever written about him, thanking him for being my inspiration when he was hurting me at the same time. Because isn’t that how life is supposed to be? Because as John Cage said, “There is beauty in everything.”
These poems are usually going to be pretty short so please review. (:
Sometimes my mind is blank except for him,
A white slate with gray gashes to wash away.
Then sometimes I wonder what he is thinking,
If his mind is blank, with a streak of color
The streak, the color of me.
