Its like you're living through a funny mirror
((You know the ones at carnivals in the fun house))
You see yourself through the funny mirror,
only its not funny.
You're fat,
Its everywhere.
You see it, therefore,
it must be true.
The imperfections are very real, even without the mirror.
Thunder thighs, muffin top, arm flab, and chubby cheeks,
Too much untoned skin.
No matter what you wear,
What you do, its always there.
But when they look at you,
a small, thin, athletic girl, completely toned, with hardly any fat,
They roll their eyes when you talk like that,
And when they do the same, you roll your eyes too,
saying, "You're not fat, you're so skinny," just like they do with you.
It's a vicious cycle where everyone is insecure,
but,
few learn its only a mirror,
and mirrors can be distorted.
