Author's Note: I wrote the rough draft of this poem quite awhile ago, when I was 20 and I edited it. It is what I picture afterlife to be like whenever that day may come. I'm not big into writing poetry, but sometimes it's very cathartic. R&R :-)

Halo Town

Warm summer night in Halo Town

The moon is mine, I sit with glorious crown

Shout to me and I shall not bound

Whisper to me and I might surround

It glows upon your divine chocolate layers

Wings are vast with willowy feathers

Follow the light that leads to forever

A place that’s showered with clear weathers

Rest upon the blueberry colored sky

Dance around the coffee grained mountains that lie

Take a dip in the cream cheese flavored clouds

Sing a song along the gust of wind so loud

You may not see the light surround you now

The day will come, live life the best you know how

For your ring of gold awaits your soul within

When heaven takes you, be not with a sin
