Mirror, mirror, on the wall

Hear the scream and break the fall

Spider-web patterns of broken glass

This mirror image will be the last

Damned life, damned soul

Use what’s left of your control

Trace the distorted image,

With trembling hands

Feel it all slipping away,

Like tiny, gritty grains of sand

You want nothing,

See nothing

Hear nothing

But feel it all too well

Wonder silently what place you’ll dwell

Fire or Ice,

Or maybe this is the price

Of the only thing you’ve dreamed,

The dream of simply losing your being.

Go ahead and yell it out,

No angel to rip you from this dream

There’s no one left to hear you scream
