Hope

When my heart is bleeding
The ocean turning red
A cry of pain leaves my lips
An echo ringing through the night

A million stars up above
Glittering and shining
Hope, a tiny speck of hope
Gone, and never to return

A black cloud over the sun
Hiding it, fading it
An old world, dying, dead, gone
The lives in vain, worthless, gone

A million stars up above
Glittering and shining
Hope, a tiny speck of hope
Gone, and never to return

My heart is bleeding
Leaving a stream of blood

A million stars up above
Glittering and shining
Hope, a tiny speck of hope
Gone, and never to return

A million stars up above
Fading and vanishing
Hope, a tiny speck of hope
Has it been there once at all

Hope, it is gone, and never to return
