chapter one

-

oh my god! it's moving!

-

"I dare you to…" Lillie smirked at me, raising her finger to her chin and tapping it slightly. This was one of the many games we loved to play over summer. We would sit at the beach, and look at guys, or play this. It had been a big tradition since our teenage years when I moved here from Utah. Lillie started laughing evilly to herself, her black hair, swinging from side to side in her ponytail. Hey icy blue eyes stared at me with glee. I was officially afraid. Lillie could definitely pull out some good dares when she wanted to.

"The Bay Harbor…" she began, but I froze. The harbor where was all the rich people kept their boats, etc. The teenagers of the parents normally hung out there, with their other rich snobby friends.

"No way! I am not going there!" I said crossing my arms in front of my chest, and sticking my lower lip out.

"You can't back out now Allie Mae," she said, adding my hated middle name. I scowled.

"You know what would happen if I got caught there?!" I said raising my voice, causing a few guys to look at me. I blushed, lowering my voice.

"Then suffer the consequen—"

"ALRIGHT! I'll go!" I said not even wanting to think about what happened if you ever turned a dare down…

She chuckled, already starting to stand up, gathering her towel. Lillie was only a small 5'1 and was proud of it. She absolutely loved being short, and didn't care about our difference in height, …and looks. Lillie was beautiful with her short raven black hair, and icy dark blue eyes, while I was a whopping 5'9, long wavy auburn hair, ghastly pale, light gray eyes. I was way too skinny, and my curves were totally non-existent.

I sighed standing up, grabbing my bag, and my sunglasses. Lillie just smiled wider. We pulled on our flip flops, and started walking through the pier to the Bay Harbor…

The closer I got, the more it sunk in that I was going to have to go there, and do something, the something I didn't know yet…

We reached the pier in record time thanks to Lillie's insistency on walking quickly. There was not a teenager in sight. I smiled, secretly thanking the man above for my luckiness. Lillie pouted.

"Dang," she said, "I was hoping someone would be here." I smiled innocently at her, looking towards her, wondering what her …brilliant…dare was.

"Um… so…what's the dare?" I asked confidently, now that I knew everything would be okay.

"Well, I say…you go on that boat, and look around…" She pointed to the biggest boat there.

"Hell no! Are you out of your mind Lill? Have you forgotten who that boat belongs too?" Christian Reed. The hottest, cutest, guy at the school. He was way probably about 6'1, a good height considering how tall I was, dark blue eyes, and long, chestnut brown hair. I didn't know much about him, so I couldn't really say anything, but he seemed snobby, and he was a player. Your average, typical, cliché guy. I sighed.

"I know very well whose boat that is, and watch your mouth," she said, smacking my arm slightly. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, how am I supposed to do this? I said irritably.

"Just walk on the boat, look around, come back in 10 minutes, and you're good!" she said smiling, looking at me.

I sighed. I definitely wasn't going to do the consequence, so I had to do this…Grr. Curse the game of truth or dare.

Lillie shoved me towards the direction of the boat, and I started walking slowly, keeping my eyes locked on the boat. Hopefully no one would possibly notice me. I reached the boat, looking behind me to see Lillie looking at me with amusement in her eyes. She obviously thought I would actually suffer the consequence. Pshht, yeah right. I stepped on the boat, entering the house part. This wasn't so bad, no one would notice me in here, and I could come back out in 10 minutes, and slaughter Lillie with a dare.

I chuckled to myself, sitting down in the seat, deciding not to go snooping.

7 minutes left…

I started humming a song to myself, realizing the easiness of this.

Then something caught my eye.

A door was partly open revealing what looked to be Christian's room on the boat. I couldn't help myself, and found my feet inching towards the room.

4 minutes left…

I opened the door looking at the bed, and the red bra sitting the middle of it. Ew. I didn't even want know what he had been doing down here.

Then the boat started moving. I jerked and fell on the bed, my head landing by the bra.

I frantically tried to get up, steadying myself. The boat. Moving. MOVING.

What the hell was happening?!

I took slow deep breaths trying not to hyperventilate. What was happening? The boat was moving! Was this a cruel joke? What had Lillie done? Was she even part of this? Oh God, Oh God, Oh God! What if I was caught on here by one of the Reed's?! I would definitely be going to jail! Oh God! I was going to jail! There was no sun in jail! Not that I didn't get sunburn every time I went in the sun, but STILL! My body started shaking, while I sat on Christian's bed by the damn bra! Why did Lillie have to think this up? I was such an idiot forever doing this! Why didn't I take the consequence, as bad as it was?! The damn consequence…AGH!

I started pacing around the room, trying to ignore the shaking of my body. Despite, the slow deep breaths, I still wasn't calm. I could tell the boat was still moving, and went over to look out the window, I couldn't even see the pier anymore! What the hell had I gotten myself into? And moving from this room could be totally suicidal!

That's when I heard it, I froze. A sound had come from outside the door, and was getting closer. My eyes widened, as I looked around the room looking for a place to hide. The closet! I quickly ran over hitting my toe on the bed. Ouch! I said in my head, holding back a yelp. I opened the doors soundlessly and slipped in with his clothes. Who keeps clothes on a boat when you have a closet at home?! Rich people…I thought rolling my eyes. That's when the door opened. Two people came in quickly shutting the door loudly behind them. They were locked together in extreme tonsil hockey.

Jessica Weaves. She was one of the most popular girls in our school, of course. She had long chocolate brown hair, emerald green eyes, and the perfect height of 5'3. She was captain of the cheerleading squad. Lillie knew her very well because they cheered together. Lillie was quite a bit more popular than I was. Moans were coming from the two, as she fell on the bed, Christian on top of her. I looked away, trying to shut out the moans, and groans coming from the two horny teenagers on the bed. I was going to kill Lillie forever doing this to me. My thoughts before of this being easy had been washed down the drain, and I now just wondered when I would get to be safely on land again.

I don't remember how long I sat there, but sometime I dozed off, to wake up and find them gone, as well as the bra. I slowly started getting up, not seeing anything that could potentially get me. I made my way to the window near the bed to see we were back at the pier, no one in sight. It was perfect, no one was there, I could make a run for it. I speed walked to Christian's door, and opened it to see a room full of guys, that were now all staring at me. How had I not noticed that they were making this noise just a few seconds ago!?

"Uh," I started, my cheeks probably a deep shade of red.

"What the hell?" Came the voice of Christian Reed, cold blue eyes staring at me.
