right now i’m addicted
to cottage cheese,
mechanical pencils,
dinosaurs on children’s
t-shirts, trip-hop music
(especially portishead
and massive attack),
awkward situations
on television shows
and in real life.

and poetry.

words in orders
i’ve yet to think of
myself, scenes
i’ve never seen,
tastes and smells
and gentles touches
of pens to notebooks,
creating life where
once lived emptiness.

(i don’t think i’ll ever
give up this obsession.)
