I want to write you something beautiful.

I know it would have

next to no meaning –

after all,

we all write beautifully in our

morning prison.

but I want to express something

beyond words,

only through words…

am I making any sense at all?

this is how you’ve gotten to me.

it’s not a juliet-to-romeo

love at first sight kind of deal,

not anything so dramatic and passionate.

but hey,

maybe I have a crush,

and I want to write something beautiful.
