And when I'm with you,
It's like a whole new feeling.
Something new to me entirely.
Causing a flittering inside,
Even though I'm entirely comfortable.
I feel a way I shouldn't,
But perhaps I should heed my own advice.
Follow my heart, as it is.
Chase after you, and never give up.
Even if you weren't mine to begin with.

And when I hold you,
I never want to let go.
So who's to say we can't stop the moon.
And make those moments last a lifetime.
The feel of your skin.
Touch of such tender and caring lips.
Entwined bodies.
Let the passion overtake us.
Letting the world pass us by.
If only for a moment that is.

I look in your eyes.
I know my own show hints of longing.
But I see a glimpse of it within yours too.
My mind cries out with joy and pain all the same.
It seems we were brought together by some odd twist of fate.
Only to be not allowed with one another.
So let us defy those rules, even if you are taken.
Let me in, for I no longer wish to be waiting outside.
