pi does not equal absolution

You'll double negative me away
but there's a remainder left,
wallowing in pi-like infinity,
rounded off to three:

un
Your victimized protestations
blossom, false but fun;
almost smirk inducing.

deux
You embody martyrdom,
paying off closed curtain call-girls;
alas charity, for you, ends at home.

trois
Monetary compensation
isn't necessary. Helping yourself
helps my case.

The trifecta complete,
dusted off the chalkboard.
An encore, a favorite gesture:
the index, the middle and the ring.
Count them up to watch them fall.

a/n: I rarely center align
but FP won't let me do what I want
and I figure this is as close as I'll get.
