The Quiet Night

The Quiet Night

The wheels aren’t moving

“Why have we stopped?”

He steps out of the car

“Where are you going?”

Be quiet, relax

The ghost’s words fade into the night

She sits in the car, worried

He’s gone, Out of sight

Where did he go?

He went no where

She sits in the car, worried

He’s gone,

Out of sight

“When is he coming back?”

Sit still, don’t worry

The ghosts whisper calms

Yet, she is not

Squirming, looking about, freaking out

“Why hasn’t he returned?”

He’ll be here soon

He comes back

Blood splattered on his jacket

The deed has been done

“What has happened?”

Run, run quickly

She does not here the spirits voice

She sits, watching in fear

He looks at her with his sly grin

“What’s happening?”

Go! Get out of there!

The spirit cries

Yet still she stays

He grabs her and drags her to the forest

“Why is he doing this?”

Fight back! Bite and scratch

The ghost has failed

The deed is done

Time can not be reversed

Why did this happen to me?”
